"Amazing all round except for one thing: we booked a twin for 2 colleagues. The bathroom had a big glass window looking into the bedroom. We were told every room has a glass window into the bathroom. Little bit weird."

"The room was very spacious and clean. Food and dinning experience excellent. The staff are all very curtious, polite and helpful. My second time here at the Van der Valk and wouldn't book anywhere else particularly for the concerts at the Dome."

"The room was a good size and clean. Wi-Fi worked well. The bath towels were really old and one was even tattered. Our TV didn’t work and when we called the desk for help, he informed us there was nothing he could do and they would fix it in the morning - well, we left in the morning - thank you anyway. Breakfast was good - it was pretty picked over and sparse when we arrived at 8:20 am. The coffee machine was Not working and when it finally did work, the quality of the coffee was very poor. As we were leaving the breakfast room, they replenished the hot items. Best thing about this hotel was its proximity to the train station."
