"Here’s the deal, who thought it was a good idea to do a big renovation with guests occupying the rooms. Should have been shutdown for a week or 2. Walking throughout the property inside and out was hindered by the construction equipment and supplies. Also, was the construction employees undergo a criminal background check? The men that I came in contact with were for the most part friendly, so that was good. There were several instances where the front entrance was hard to get into except by dodging big equipment. The staff was friendly and helpful, breakfast was good, and the rooms were nice. Spark will probably be a good place to stay when work is complete"

"Very lovely setting. The room was fine, bed comfortable and large. the bathroom was awful. The bathtub super slippery (although there were handles to hang on to to get in); the hot water was not hot enough and took forever to heat up, so did not use the cold water. The toilet paper holder was coming off the wall, and the bathtub as stated earlier could have been upgraded. Breakfast was not kept warm the first morning, but was fine the day after. As affordable as this motel is, the bathroom needs upgrading for all the above-mentioned reasons."
