"This location is fabulous. Right across from the main bus and train station. It made our travel to the area possible and convenient from Salzburg by bus. We walked across the bridge, taking photos of gorgeous alpine fed river, right to the hotel. The restaurant here with outdoor patio is a draw also. All the staff we encountered were hospitable and helpful, especially at reception. Thank you!! We were able to get recommendations and have the mobility ticket set up to use the bus for free to the cable car and lake Konigssee. Our room had a window that when opened revealed the majestic Walzman mountain. Wow! The breakfast was also extensive and just wished we had more time to enjoy since we had pre-booked an early boat ride. But the bus location made it possible take the bus at our convenience. I would stay here again to explore the region for sure! The food and drink available at the restaurant was also excellent for anytime. Room is older, basic, but large. Bathroom typical no complaints."

This property was absolutely amazing and unlike anything I’ve ever experienced … truly beautiful, unique, classy, amazing staff. we have stayed at some places that are comparable pricewise, also mountain retreats in the areas and Schloss far surpasses them all.
