"The immediate vicinity of the hotel was unexpected. In spite of that, we loved everything about it. The owner and his wife checked us in and could not have been nicer. The room was clean with a large walk-in closet and refrigerator. The best part of our visit was Terrance! He was the young man running the breakfast service the following morning! "Location was right across the street from sights, dining and shopping. View of gate from room was incredible! AC wasn't great, but the room has a huge window that you can open and a cool breeze blows in easily. They also provide a nice fan that keeps the room comfortable. "

"This is a beautiful hotel right in the heart of the lovely city of Trier. The room was immaculate, spacious and comfortable. The staff were very helpful, and I even received a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine simply because it was my birthday, during my stay. I have stayed in few finer hotels."
"Room was exceptionally spacious with sofa and balcony. Swimming pool was quiet, relaxing and water temperature and was just right. Daily cleaning was excellent. Cleaner very helpful. The stand out was the restaurant. Breakfast was plentiful and comprehensive. We dined each evening of our seven night stay. The range of food on the menu was impressive and the quality first class. Obviously a very accomplished chef. Restaurant staff could not have been more helpful and cheerful. They showed it was a happy place to work. "Fabulous from start to finish! Welcome drink on arrival, early access to our room which was in the cottage, we ate in the restaurant, the food was very good, staff very attentive and lovely wines. Swimming pool was great and the sauna. Great location and will definitely stay again."
