Above and Beyond

We had a lovely stay in this quaint and quiet hotel located in a small town… The owner, Christian and his family went above and beyond to ensure we had a perfect stay. The breakfast was tasty and convenient. The owner also cooked us some incredibly delicious homemade meals by request. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this to anyone looking for a quiet place to rest….

Such a pleasant surprise! Wanted to stay in a smaller town, and Gerswalde is pleasant walkable town, with a historic castle site a few blocks from the hotel. The restaurant was not open temporarliy, but the breakfast was wonderful; teated to home made jam, and fruit from the garden. Super friendly and helpful family run this quaint country hotel.

Wir waren über Silvester dort weil wir dem Lärm in Berlin entfliehen wollten. Der antike und sehr familiäre Charme hat uns positiv angesprochen. Das Frühstück war ausreichend und lecker. Der Inhaber der Pension war aufgeschlossen und zuvorkommend. Haben uns gut unterhalten. Die Zimmer gemütlich und ansprechend sauber. Auf jeden Fall werden wir mit Sicherheit wieder dort einkehren. Ideal für jeden, der Ruhe sucht

Es handelt sich um einen Familienbetrieb mit Tradition. Preis-Leistung ist absolut unschlagbar. Auf Wunsch gibt es auch ein Abendessen, das frisch zubereitet wird und von dem sich manches Sternerestaurant eine Scheibe abschneiden könnte, und das zu einem wirklich günstigen Preis. Zum Frühstück gibt es unter anderem selbst gemachte Marmelade und anderes frisch aus dem Garten. Man kann individuelle Wünsche äußern und alles wird möglich gemacht. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig, obwohl sich das Haus mitten im Dorf befindet. Mit dem Auto ist die Autobahn gut erreichbar und ebenso die gesamte Uckermark. Die Gegend ist auch für Radfahrer zu empfehlen.

Der Inhaber ist sehr engagiert, freundlich und serviert ein gutes Frühstück sogar auf dem Zimmer :-) . Seine Tipps für Restaurants bzw. Sehenswertes in der Umgebung waren sehr hilfreich!
