Condition of the inn is bad. Towel rack breaks immediately with use.

Clean, fresh smelling room. Go spend that little extra to stay at a room with balcony. Only downside is that other guests could be loud. Hotel should implement quiet time.

Parts of the hotel have been recently renovated, which is great. The pool is heated, there's a working sauna, gym & hot tub & they offer daily vouchers for free Tim Horton's breakfast. Its also a very central location, right on the highway, with the mall across the street. However, many of the renovations haven't been done super well... parts of the crown molding are coming off, pencil/measurement marks are still very visible & its obvious that little to no sound proofing insulation was done. The beds were.. ok. Not great, not terrible. Just ok. The pillows are awful. It seriously looks like they found plush throw pillows for a couch, slapped some cases on them & put them on the beds. We ended up buying 4 pillows & 2 throw blankets for our stay, because we also found it incredibly cold. The room was a great size, though the kitchenette was somewhat lacking. A single pot, pan, etc. Unfortunately these were too small to even cook a box of KD in, so probably best to bring your own if you're staying here. All in all, it was fine. Again.. not terrible. But not great either. For the price, its definitely decent, though I'm very undecided on whether or not we'd stay here again. In my opinion, the heated outdoor swimming pool is definitely the biggest selling point, especially if you have kids.

Old building in dire need of upgrade - THIN walls
Although the staff was very helpful and kind, the hotel itself is in bad condition. It is old and in need of a proper remodeling and upgrades. For the price we did not expect it to be 5 stars, but based off other reviews, we at least expected to be comfortable and a clean hotel. However, the cleanliness aspect left us wanting. But the real negative was the comfort. There was large group of families and their kids also staying at the hotel (Hockey team meet?). The kids were running in and around the hotel making a lot of noise past 10 pm. The room next to us had a large group of people gathered talking loudly past 11:30pm. We had to knock on their door to ask them to quiet down. Please note that there is no concierge past 10pm.

The hotel is clean and the staff polite and professional, but the place is rough. It really could use a face lift and an update. No elevator, so we lugged our bags up stairs and down halls. Also we chose it partially because it said breakfast included, but when we got there, they gave us a coupon for Tim Horton's down the street,which was a huge disappointment on many levels.

Quick overnighter
Clean comfortable place. Decent price. Breakfast included but you have to go a couple of blocks to Tim Hortons to get it.

The bed was very hard but otherwise it was a great hotel. The room was quite large. We had lots of space. The hotel is very quiet. Breakfast is included from Tim Hortons just down the road.

Definitely recommend
The hotel wasn't spectacular or new, but it was a great experience. We loved our huge room with vaulted ceilings, pet friendly, and enjoyed the hot tub and sauna. They also gave free breakfast voucher for Tim Horton's. 10/10

Good value and quality
Only stay in a double queen beds room for one night. Alrhough the hotel is old but room is spacious , beds are comfortable except the pillows should be in bigger size. Room is clean but need more electric plugs e.g the coffee maker has no plug to use.

Serviceable stay at Cedars Inn
This is an aging facility but clean and tidy and the staff is responsive and friendly. Hot tub and sauna work, gym well equipped -- hopefully the owners are working on the leak that has the floor a bit wet! Breakfast was a voucher at Tim Hortons.
