Thank you for taking the time to review - I am sorry to hear your air conditioner did not work, during the current summer weather it does not make for a pleasant night sleep. If you would like to get into contact with us personally and let us know what room you stayed in, we can look into this further. Unfortunately, without issues being reported to us we cannot do anything about correcting them. And sometimes with air conditioners it can be an easy fix. Even if it is not, we would be more then happy to find an alternative way of making sure you are comfortable during your stay. Again I am sorry to hear about the air conditioner during your stay, but please do get in contact with us if you can.

As you are aware we are currently redoing all the inside of the rooms which will be completed by Christmas and then we will be painting the entire outside of the venue. The outside is always kept clean and tidy as we hose down every 2-3 days which is a must in a mining town such as Gladstone. Again thankyou and we look forward to welcoming you next time. Hi Sandra thankyou for your review of The Harbour City Motel. We took over the venue in June of this year and have been working very hard to give it a freshen up and update furnishings. We are currently in the process and repainting the entire venue starting from inside and then finally the outside. All maintenance issues have now been taken care of so no more leaking taps/showers - nothing worse I know.
