Very nice place to stay in Golden.
Shari was an amazing host, very friendly and knowing. She suggested a few places to visit and see. The room was very clean and comfortable. I was alone on the floor, so I had the shared bathroom for myself. Otherwise I'd have had to share. The Internet was fast. Because of COVID there was no breakfast but Shari made sandwiches and a lunch box. That was very kind of her.

We stayed in a very comfortable room with free wi-fi. Breakfast was bacon\eggs and cooked to order. Our host was very kind and provided us with a room with its own sink and toilet of the bedroom. She had kindly switched rooms for us after I had contacted her about a mistake I had made while booking on expedia. Price was great.

Hosting of a different kind
Homely and cordial accommodation in a family hotel. Good breakfast. Disadvantages: Shared bathroom with other guests ... Overall not bad. Golden's distance from attractions. We really enjoyed it.

We had an amazing stay at Country Comfort! Shari and Wendell were amazing hosts, offering delicious breakfasts in the morning as well as suggestions and recommendations for food and activities in the area. Rooms were spacious, very clean and comfortable. We were welcomed with a crackling fire in the fireplace the night we arrived in the common area downstairs. Golden was a perfect spot to explore Yoho! We would highly recommend their beautiful home and look forward to staying again when we come back to the Canadian Rockies! Thank you again!

Très bonne adresse pour séjourner proche du Yoho parc , et le lac Louise. L'accueil était très bien et personnalisé. Les hôtes ont répondu a toute nous attente et se sont montrés discret. La chambre et la salle de bain (commune) sont très propre. Seul la rue devant la maison est passante et peu gêner si la chambre donne sur la rue. Sinon très bien

Well maintained and VERY clean property. Bed was very comfortable and owners went out of their way to make sure that all needs were met. Highly recommend this property for anyone passing through and in need of comfortable, secure, well maintained and service oriented experience.

Easy access and friendly owners, nearby restaurant is good. The house is a bit old but they keep it in very good condition, everything is well maintained!

Lovely stay overall. Shari and Wendall were friendly and helpful while respectful of privacy, a pretty good balance for a B&B. Breakfast was delicious, we really appreciated the home-cooked meal and good company with other guests. Thanks!

Comfortable centrally located home
From the moment we arrived Sherry and Wendell were great hosts. the house presented as very large, bright and spotless clean. our comfortable large room had a queen bed, a single bed and a bathroom with toilet and sink. We shared a bathroom with a shower right outside our door. The house was centrally located with close access to the downtown area, the river and any services we needed just a few moments walk away. Sherry recommended some nearby restaurants and walks. We certainly enjoyed our stay there and would highly recommend it to any visitors to Golden. We will book it again when we go back for another golf trip.

Very warm welcome. Good parking. Close to good eateries. I liked the guest common room and the shared breakfast table. The only reason I didn’t give a complete excellent across the board was because the bathrooms are shared.

Close to our AGM meeting facility and eateries, gas, etc. Pleasant, friendly hosts. Windows not updated so the sound of the traffic on hwy 95, right below our bedroom window was noisy all night long ie. 2:00 am. The bathroom on top floor was very dark [no overhead light above the sink] so I used the main floor bathroom. The twin beds were great but room very small to accommodate our large duffel bags, and our outdoor gear ie. scopes, etc. that we had to lug up two flights of stairs. Shared bathroom is not for me as I have a lot of skin care/ contact eye solutions that I prefer to set up, and leave in the bathroom, however I was able to do that the second night as no other guests on that floor.

Reasonable, clean, and friendly B & B
Extremely clean and friendly B & B. Great location just outside the park located on the main street of town. Within walking distance of many local restaurants and pubs. Sherry and husband extremely helpful and friendly. Room was clean and comfortable. No a/c, but nice fan in room kept all cool, was not hot. Cooked me a nice breakfast of eggs and bacon. Asks all guests to remove shoes so place stays clean. Only downside was does not allow outside visitors into house, but we sat in yard under trees and shared glass of wines with our friends. Turned out nicer anyway.

Comfortable and very clean with a fantastic breakfast. Many of the rooms are up or down stairs, so heads up if you’ve packed a big/heavy suitcase.

Great breakfast. Friendly owners. Big room with comfy bed. Perfect for us wanting to cut down a few hours in the car going to Vancouver Island the day after(instead of travelling from Banff/or Calgary)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. We were welcomed in even though the room was reserved for the previous night. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful, they were able to give us advice on what to see and what to expect for travel and parking, etc. The breakfast was delicious and the setting was very nice.

We liked the natural friendliness and helpfulness of those who served us. However we came in late from a stressful road work and poorly marked road lines so the steps to lug our suitcases up to our room were not welcome. The a hostess who was still up was very helpful in getting us settled and carried my wife's sutcase up the stairs. Our suggestion would be have some sort of ramp.

The B&B had atmosphere, friendly easy going staff/owners, nice location in Golden, beautiful exterior, landscaping was lovely, breakfast was great, something for everyone. Service was fast, dining area was clean, conversation with other guests was stimulating.
