Goose Island State Park, Rockport hotel rooms at the Motel 6

"The breakfast was very good The a c west cool I was okay . We stepped out, we went back to our room. The key didn't work the from disksks,someone put us down one day for some reason, she thought it was funny. My husband didn't like the attitude. Her co- worker, correct editor."

"AC was good, but very loud when running. Very clean rooms, but could use some updating. Most of the staff was friendly except the guy at check out as he could not provide a printed invoice or tell us total cost as we booked room thru Hotels.com. Told us it would be emailed to us but have yet to receive it a day later. "

"The room was clean and spacious! Linens were very nice and the beds very comfortable! The property grounds were beautiful with palm trees with areas to sit and socialize. The pool was beautiful with fountains and a hot tub. The property was so lovely it’s unfortunate that property management allowed items that should have been trashed to remain on the premises. The chair in our room needed to be reupholstered; the life ring at the pool was torn and two if the chaise chairs were faded and torn. These items took away from an exceptional experience."
