“Clean room, staff were helpful & friendly. Breakfast was delicious, although the menu wasn't offered everyday, which had alternative choices on it. We had an evening meal there, which was amazing. Drinks a bit expensive though. Rooms are spacious & clean.”

“The grounds are beautiful and historic and when we drove up I had high expectations for the interior. I would not consider it anywhere near a 4 star hotel. The room was in a poor state, and paint was chipping from every surface, and the carpet was split down the center of the room creating a crater, in addition to being frayed and shredded. “We stayed for just one night so we’re not able to enjoy the full experience. The weather was unusually warm so we upgraded to a room with AC. The AC didn’t really cool the room so we ultimately had to open the slider to cool the room. Our experience would likely have been more enjoyable if we had stayed longer and didn’t have to utilize AC.”
