"I cannot figure out why this hotel did not receive a much higher rating on trip advisor or other rating platforms. The staff was terrific- friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, the bed very comfortable and the coffee-maker and fridge were a nice addition. The continental breakfast was generous and had a number of options, helping us avoid having to find a restaurant each morning and allowing us to get into the park each morning before the crowds. The location was perfect- right near both Bar Harbor and the park. We would definitely stay here again."

"Front desk staff who was from Jamaica for the summer (Michelle?) is so nice and helpful. The individual who checked us out, very gruff, completely different experience. Love that it was so convenient to walk to town. And that they served Carrabansett Acadia coffee, very community-oriented. I've recommended to others, and we'll be back!"

"We had a great stay at the resort. Great location and about a ten minute drive from either Acadia or bar harbor. The property is right on the water with great views. The pool and jacuzzi are great. The stewmans restaurant inside the resort was a nice surprise."
