The place is no longer a B&B

There was no stay!!! Arrived at the front door only to be informed that all bookings had been canceled because of a change in ownership; however Hotels.com didn’t bother to let us know about this fact so we ended up in some fleabag dump of a place a few miles away. Thanks a lot Hotels.com, that is the last time we will ever use you!

Wonderful Staff and accommodations. We missed the breakfasts due to our time schedules during the mornings, but the whole Guest House arrangement is really nice.

Warm welcome. Helpful tips. Wonderful location for city and airport proximity. Excellent breakfast. So very friendly. Would recommend enthusiastically.

Laut, nicht sehr sauber, billiges Frühstück

Diese Unterkunft hat uns sehr enttäuscht. Leider kann ich nichts anderes schreiben als : laut ( trotz Ohropax kein ruhiger Schlaf da eine sehr befahrene Strasse direkt daneben - unbedingt die Zimmer nach hinten verlangen), nicht besonderes sauber ( der Teppich im Zimmer schon lange nicht gesaugt ), und zum Frühstück würden die billigsten Lebensmittel verwendet. Selbst die einfachen Spiegeleier waren zu sehr angebratten, Porridge aus der Mikrowelle...Die Kekse im Zimmer nicht in OVP - also unhygenisch, und ohne gutem Geschmack.

Friendly staff, and hotel has tons of character!

Fiona was very friendly and attentive during our one night stay. She showed us the local area and restaurants and made sure we were comfortable. The rooms were bigger then we had become used to in the UK, and it was a nice change. Within walking distance to some pubs and shops. Free parking and Fiona made sure we had a breakfast tray for our early 6-AM flight. We stayed during the recent heat wave, but the fans helped a lot. Great stay!

5 Star Guest House

Guest House is immaculate.Located in quiet street, Hosts were pleasant, welcoming and helpful. Room was spotlessly clean. Breakfast very nice. By far, the nicest Accommodation we have stayed in. A real homely feeling. We could not fault at all. Would definitely recommend. We didnt want to leave. Will be back for sure. 5 stars from us.☺

Comfortable and friendly

We had a large, well equipped and nicely furnished room. Very nice breakfast. Extremely helpful owners who gave great advice on how to navigate city. Felt quite at home here.

surprising

'what time will you be back tonight? this is a b&b not a hotel!' not what i expected. We agreed on a curfew of 11pm. Premises, although clean, were a little tired and dated. Not enough hot water for a bath. Breakfast unremarkable. I was disappointed because the previous reviews were good and i thought i might have found somewhere special- i was wrong. The woman who served us breakfast was polite and cheery- the high point of the stay

Nice hotel

This is probably the most friendliest place we have ever stayed, everyone there was so helpful with anything that we needed. The room was clean, warm and had plenty of space for the two of us. Breakfast was great, this is where we will be staying on our next visit.

Good location, lovely hotel. Excellent value.

My room looked towards the motorway but it was not intrusive, overnight it was quiet.. If you are sensitive to traffic noise ask about which room would be best.

Confort mais mieux en voiture

Très jolie Guest House, bien confortable. Le petit déjeuner est bien et bien servi. La WiFi est un peu faible. Mais on est un peu loin de tout, pas de commerce, ou restaurant a proximité. Le centre et même le Kelvingrove Art Gallery, sont un peu loin que par le bus 2 ou 3. Et le stade des Glasgow Warriors est a 15 minutes. La chambre est calme malgré l'autoroute à cote Et le prix est raisonnable.

Atendimento e instalações muito boas

As acomodações são ótimas e a senhora que administra o local extremamente simpática e prestativa. Também gostamos bastante do café da manhã e das demais instalações do local (preservado com muito zelo).

A lovely place to stay

This is a beautiful little B and B with the loveliest of proprietors and staff. We were made to feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely return.

Perfect for university visits

Were dropping off our son at Glasgow University, very handy. Room excellent, bed very comfortable. Had a recommendation for a place to eat which was in walking distance so didn't have to drive. Breakfast great as we are vegetarian and we're well catered for. Will definitely use again when visiting over the next 4 years!

Lovely guest house and hosts

This is a very beautiful guest house. Fiona and Scott were very welcoming and personable hosts, and ensured that we were comfortable and had all our needs met. They even provided a cold breakfast as we had to leave early one morning of our stay. They provided us with lots of information re things to do and places to eat in the area. This house is close to University of Glasgow, Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum and some Bontanical Gardens - so one day we walked about 20 to 30 minutes to visit these sites. Bus stops are nearby if one wanted to travel further in the city.

Bonne adresse à 20 mn du centre ville en metro

Agreable B&B, lit tres confortable et petit dejeuner correct. La decoration des chambres est d’un gout qui peut ne pas convenir à tous, et la salle de bains pourrait etre mieux amenagee et equipee.
