"staff was abrupt, bordering on rude. Didn't get my "VIP perks.' Apparently, the free omelets they have been offering for breakfast for over a year are now pay-in-advance at check-in, without notice before my arrival. One of the biggest reasons that I return to this hotel. Check in at 4. They were rude about my wanting to check in at 330 last time, so I went to dinner first. At 5:15, I received a text asking me to call them and tell them what time I was checking in. There were no open tables at breakfast, despite fewer than 3 dozen guests. They had half of the eating area closed off. They put me in a room halfway down the building from the parking lot, on the 4th floor, again with fewer than 3 dozen cars in the parking lot, and my placing my reservation over a month ago. I had to walk half the length of a long building every time I went to my car. I have stayed at this hotel numerous times in the past 3 years, and loved it until my past two visits. I will NOT be staying there again."

"The Staff at check-in was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Beyond that the rest of the staff was mediocre and non-excitant at best, except for the kitchen staff on Sunday. I did not get her name, but she more than outshined the gentleman we had the rest of the week. After Sunday the pancakes that were served could have been used as clay pigeons. They were so hard that you could barely cut them with a knife, and many other items were not out or freshened up. We were told at check-in on Saturday that the clean staff would service our room on the third day. As of our departure on Wednesday our room had never been touched, and the only cleaning person we seen was sweeping the hallway as we went out on Tuesday. When we returned that evening, I had to go to get clean towels. This was our first time staying with this brand, and there were some good things, so I will not say we'll never stay with this brand again, but more than likely not here."

"It was a pleasant stay. The room was comfortable. A hot buffet breakfast and 24/7 coffee was a plus. Their guest reception everyday from 5:30 to 7 was great. Three free drinks and free food that changed everyday. And plenty of free parking. Access off I-25 was easy. Yet is just didn't feel great for some reason. We went to have a nightcap at the bar, and there was a ton of military there very drunk and loud. The bartender had earplugs in and said it was normal. When we first got in our room, we couldn't find an ice bucket or cups. Our second day we noticed them stashed under a shelf next to the closet. The mirrored door to the closet is very dangerous. I almost walked into it a couple of times, thinking it was the door to the bathroom. There were other minor things, also. All in all, though, it was a nice stay. We enjoyed the large hot tub and were minutes away from restaurants and Ford Ampitheater, the reason we booked there. We will stay there again."

"Room was clean. Walls a bit thin (guy on meetings next to us at 6am), but not holding that against them. The pool area was a but rundown. It was a bit annoying that, while there is a back door to exit from, you can't come back in. So running to the car and back became a ordeal. The continental breakfast was pretty slim pickings. Overall, it was fine for the price. The staff was friendly. Location was nice being a short drive to Manitou."

"You’d think there’d be communication regarding the state of the hotel prior to check-in, but there wasn’t. The same $ rate each day, with limited amenities and construction all day. The pool, hot tub, gym, restaurant and bar were closed, and half the elevators were out of service. The breakfast was out of stuff each day. The sinks in the bathrooms stopped working, exits were closed, the towels smelled weird, the sheets smelled like cigarettes. Also, you have to pay $15 a day to park at the hotel, which is so unnecessary. There should be a discounted rate with those conditions. If we knew that was going to be the situation, we would’ve stayed somewhere else."
