Best Western St. Catharines Hotel & Conference Centre

Best Western St. Catharines Hotel & Conference Centre

10/10 Excellent
"The hotel is ideally situated at the QEW/Lake St exit on the service road. Our room was in the "quieter" executive wing but unfortunately due to the Costco warehousing receiving docks across the street it did get a little noisy in the morning. The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. Lemon water available from jugs The room was nice, tidy and clean. An a/c, heat or air circulation wall mounted unit was available and in excellent condition. Easily controlled and adjusted. The bathroom although clean and well stocked could use a bit of TLC, the caulking around the bath in particular needs replacing. Plenty of hot water for a good shower. No night light in the bathroom means that the main switch has to be used and lights up the bedroom too as there is a second wash basin outside the bathroom door opposite the closet that has its lights fed from same switch. No towel rail for this sink either. The bed was a king and extremely comfortable with ample pillows for a good night's sleep. Renovations were on going on ground floor hallway in the wing. Didn't use the indoor pool but observed other guests enjoying it. The outdoor pool was closed for the season. Breakfast buffet served in the adjoining Wrigley's restaurant was excellent. Different hot and cold available and drinks too. Menu was changed daily. The restaurant is run by friendly staff with an excellent MultiChoice menu to cover most tastes and daily specials. The hotel offers 10% vouchers for one meal daily."

Hilton Garden Inn Niagara-on-the-Lake

8/10 Good
"We stayed for one night as a family of four, including a toddler, and overall had a pleasant experience. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The complimentary buffet breakfast was good and offered a nice variety of choices. One small area that could be improved is the lighting around the mini fridge and coffee machine, as that area was quite dark. Better lighting there would make it more convenient, especially when using the coffee machine at night. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would be happy to return in the future."
