Grindelwald, Canton of Bern hotel rooms at the Swiss Quality Hotels

Absolutely excellent, every component. Room was beautiful, staff helpful and attentive, perfect location, great spa, great breakfast. Will stay here again.

This is an amazing hotel perfectly situated directly across from Grindelwald First. When I say directly across, I mean you can be at Grindelwald First in less than 5 mins. Less than that if you can walk a slight incline quickly. You are also perfectly situated by the shops and restaurants! The hotel is beautiful! Hotel Alpenhof if a beautiful, peaceful hotel in Grendelwald. We had a suite on the top floor with a balcony and a sweeping view of the mountains and green hillsides. The room was spacious and clean, with an handy minibar in case you want to have a beer on the nice deck, and tastefully decorated in Swiss style. Now, I’m going to be honest. The rooms are not updated or fancy…more like a holiday inn….but the staff more than makes up for the simple/old rooms. Every single person was so nice, kind, and helpful. Georgia was especially helpful to us! We appreciated her advice! The outdoor deck was beautiful, and the restaurant was fantastic! Also, the location could not be better with amazing views.

Excellent hotel Diego was most helpful with late check in and then a wonderful staff and breakfast. Wish we could stay longer but will be back again soon for sure.

I cannot say enough good things about the staff at the hotel. Traveling single, I had a lot of questions, and the staff at the desk fielded them all and were very helpful. The hotel is conveniently located about 3 minutes from the train station, so you do not have to walk far. The morning breakfast offered was a great way to start your day. I did eat at the hotel restaraunt one evening during my stay. The food was delicious. (I am more of a simple fare kind of person, so Iate in bars for dinner...

Central, convenient, easy access to all mountain excursions. Wonderful view of the surrounding mountains right in your face.

Nice location where the bus stop just less 1mins walk; Excellent breakfast provided; The only thing is the wardrobe in the room will make noise when people passing by.

Restaurant was reasonably priced and good. System was well-organized; staff was friendly; and there is a playground next door. I did not have a chance to try the breakfast since needing to leave early. The beds were rather firm. And the bathroom door gives a truly cultural experience to family-style (clear on bottom and does not completely separate the rooms but is sufficient). Otherwise, it is perfect and would be 5 stars.

Excellent stay here, 3 minute walk from the train station. Beautiful views. The staff who I believe were the owners went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. They go the extra mile prepping breakfast. Would recommend to any of my family members or friends.

Beautiful hotel. In the heart of Interlaken. Close to the train station + short driving distance to the Falls. Looked like a great spa but we couldn’t use it because of Covid. - you need a Swiss Covid QR to enter Spas + restaurants. Otherwise a beautiful experience.
