"This hotel was reasonably priced in comparison to others we stayed at in Lucerne and Zurich. The views from the room balcony were impeccable and the alps are stunning. The staff were very kind and gave us help as needed. Breakfast offered some good options and seemed on par with other options around town. The hotel offered a large breakfast/picnic area and lobby where you can get drinks and the tea is complimentary!
Two things I think you should be aware of prior to arriving: 1) the space is small, we felt crowded with bringing two carry ons and one checked bag and 2) there is no AC (most places we visited in grindelwald did not seem to have it) so windows will have to stay open at night for air circulation. This was a big deal for us as we are sensitive to heat and also there was a music festival down the street one night and a movie playing on the street another.
Overall, I would recommend this place for impeccable views and the friendly staff! Thanks for a lovely stay"
