Clean room, good amenities, senior staff great but junior staff not so great. Spa and gym can be improved as making reservations at both the hotel’s restaurants and at the Ritz.

Room was very beautiful, modern and comfortable. View to ocean and La Gomera was stunning. Surrounding area also beautiful. Spa was nice but complicated to book and pool area top. Fitness room too small and breakfast definitely not 5 stars. Selection was small.

This hotel was set in a stunning area, the apartment was very comfortable and in excellent condition. Staff were on the most part very friendly and helpful. The pool was beautiful and very quiet. The only downside was lack of children’s playground and it wasn’t great for running.

The hotel has friendly and helpful staff, a great atmosphere, and excellent and clean accommodation. Free and convenient pickup and drop-off transport around the site, including to the beach. There could have been more food and shopping options near by

Pleasant surprise to be upgraded to a 2 bedroom. The condo was well designed with large terrace - perfect for the gorgeous view. Kitchen was well appointed with everything needed to cook meals and there was plenty of storage for clothing and personal belongings. Infinity pool was spectacular along with plenty of seating options. Communication at the resort and across the 3 Abama resorts could be improved. We had called the front desk to verify we could have dinner at The Ritz Carlton only to find out upon arrival that a private event prevented other Abama guests from visiting. We requested a shuttle to take us to the Beach Club and upon arrival we found out it was closed for a private party. Most staff were pleasant, however, we did experience the wrath of an irate maid. We had requested for the sheets to be changed on one bed and clean towels. She did not speak English and she tried to claim it was too late for service. It was only the 3rd time we had service on a 10 day stay. She was opening expressing her anger in Spanish as she was cleaning, and I had to ask her to stop doing so. Because of the language barrier she ended up cleaning the entire room. We just wanted her to get in and get out with her combative attitude. Shuttle service is advertised as available all day until 11:00pm. Around 8:00 pm is it almost impossible to get the front desk to answer the phone to take the requests. This is very frustrating when you have dinner reservations off property.

Incredible place. Took our two year old and everything was just effortless. The staff were so friendly and helpful, the villas, the pools, the breakfasts. We’re going to miss it! Incredibly relaxing. It’s not the cheapest place to stay in Tenerife it’s excellent value considering the quality of the accommodation and the facilities. They have a free shuttle that takes you down to the beach so you don’t need to think about parking, they even give you beach towels. That’s our second time visiting Jardines de Abama, we’ll be back a third time no doubt!
