“The revamp is nice but more modern than I expected. Not the New England vibe the property had before. But it needed updating so I guess modern is what spark does!”

“We stayed there for two nights at this charming inn. Very cute and the only hiccup was the air conditioning. It was like a meat locker and no way to adjust the temperature. The morning breakfast was simple but very adequate Definitely check it out ! We will be back!”

“We appreciated the clean rooms and facility. The grounds were groomed very well with yard games available. The Inn was located conveniently to downtown Freeport. It was very charming and picturesque. The only negative downside to our stay was the breakfast. The advertising led us to believe the breakfast was free. It was NOT, unless you just wanted a very limited continental breakfast. (And if you are gluten free, good luck, and bring your own pasties.) Anything hot or cooked was on a menu...

“I keep using Holiday Inn Express because I have never been disappointed with the continental breakfasts and love how bright and clean everything is.”

“I was initially put in a room that was next to a mechanical room for the pool, it had a very loud hum that made the experience extremely unpleasant. They did move me to a different room the next day, but the promised comped night was not reflected on the bill. I will not stay there again.”

“The air conditioning unit has a stale smell. thankfully we went on nights that were cool so we switched off the air-conditioning and kept the windows open. I would never be able to stay in this room if I had to keep the heat or the AC on because of the smell that it emanates. I mentioned to the hotel staff and they’re supposed to call me back, but no one has Also, the room look much better in the pictures than they actually are”

“There is everything you need to comfortably stay.You have clean rooms, comfortable beds,quiet area,a/c, tv,refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, clean bathroom with shower, continental breakfast every morning and reasonable prices. We were looking for nice place to sleep mostly after whole days of exploring Maine and that place matched our expectations. Thank you for hosting us !”
