The location is excellent — right by Lake Tahoe with a private beach that is peaceful and beautiful. It’s also very close to the marina where you can take boat tours, which made everything very convenient. We stayed in a loft room in Building 5, and the layout was great for our family. The room has an upstairs and downstairs area: there is a sofa bed downstairs and a bed upstairs, so it comfortably sleeps four people. From our balcony we could even see Lake Tahoe, which was a lovely bonus. There is also a heated spa/hot tub near Building 5, which was very relaxing after a day outside. The property also has a swimming pool and the overall facilities were well maintained. The shower had great water pressure and everything in the room worked well. One small issue during check-in was that the hotel was quite busy and they forgot to send us the text message notifying us that our room was ready, so we ended up waiting over an hour longer than necessary. However, once we got into the room, everything was smooth and comfortable. The only minor downside was that you could hear a bit of creaking from the floor when the upstairs neighbors were walking, but overall the place was good，location is that there are convenient places nearby. There’s a Whole Foods across the street and a very popular breakfast Red Hut，1.2 mile to Heavenly Condola"

"We stayed here to ski and the advertised 3-minute walk to the gondola was actually 10 minutes uphill, which is a haul in ski boots and with gear. Also, there is no requesting cleaning of the rooms which we also didn't know about. Generally, pretty overpriced for somewhat shabby hotel rooms with limited services."

"No skiing - attended hockey game. Front desk while I did arrive early and paid $40.00 for early check in my son arrived 15 minutes after me and paid $25.00 early check in. No refrigerator in room but son had fridge and was directly across the hall. No room cleaning unless requested but was not informed this needed to be done nor was a notice within the room. "
