"Although the hotel does not appear to have been updated in quite a long time and some facilities like the plumbing could be doing with getting improved (bath, sink and toilet very slow to drain) I was grateful that there was still a bathtub which I prefer for medical reasons when so many other places are removing them and putting in showers which fill the same space. The parking could have been better as the spaces were quite small"

"Nice and pretty hotel. The parking was a bit problematic with the drop off area being blocked. Good breakfast. Enjoyed the pool. We had a nice room but had four people and only enough towels and water given for two. Ate at the bar overlooking the golf-course which was nice."

"Rooms were nice a big with a great bathroom. Very good value for money. For what we paid the breakfast was good, if we would have been staying in the main hotel (Β£300 difference), I would have been very disappointed."

"Hotel was lovely, bit outdated in room. No lighting so was hard to see. Pool was little cold and hot tub wasn't working for the two days we were there. Surroundings were lovely, nice breakfast and selection of drinks at the bar. Would be an idea to tell people of the cost of taxis before attending as there is no taxi service about and they have to come from Newport. So for a 5 minute drive into the town costs Β£22!"
