"Owner greeted us upon arrival and was very nice. We were able to check-in about 1200. Our 2 bedroom room was clean and well maintained. Its overall ambiance was perfect and very relaxing. TV was huge and easy to use. The long private balcony was a plus. Location was great. Upon our departure, the owner even arranged a taxi to take us to the KTX station as we continued our 3 week tour of Korea. This Hanok Stay is the best. We would highly recommend it."

"We've stayed at this property twice now, and it was a beautiful experience both times. I don't think I can ever stay anywhere else if I return to Gyeongju! The hanok is beautifully built in traditional fashion, which is not common as most hanok hotels are modern buildings decorated to look traditional, and extremely clean and comfortable. We slept so well there, and woke up to soft sunlight gently filtering through the paper screens. The owners are the loveliest people you can imagine, speak excellent English and are so kind and helpful that you truly feel welcome. I travel a lot and stay at many hotels, and this is one of my favourite places in the world!"

"Useful location for walking to tomb and restaurants close. Cocktails at Bar Prep worth looking out for! Good advance comms re information how to get to them from station, things to do, restaurants etc Breakfast nice and varied. Good to have rooftop area but why no cushions on the seats? As has been mentioned in other reviews, plastic covering on beds bit hot and rustle. Nowhere to hang wet towels apart from one rail, had to leave one on wardrobe door each time. Receptionist spoke excellent English and very helpful sorting cabs when our Uber app failed! NB Lots of the cab drivers don’t speak English so get the hotel name and address in Korean."

"Location is a 10 minute walk to intercity bus station and 15 minutes to the historical area and tomb parks. The room was surprisingly quiet for the central location. The beds were comfortable and the room was spacious with very good climate control. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Included breakfast was adequate. It was free and easy to park our rental car. Overall, it was a great choice if not staying in a hanok in the historic village."
