"This was our first stay in a Hanook hotel. It was obviously very old-fashioned in style, yet very clean and comfortable. A small, landscaped interior courtyard provided a serene atmosphere. The bathrooms were small but fully equipped. Due to the hotel being booked, we had to change rooms for the second night. This was arranged efficiently via email well ahead of our stay by a very responsive staff member. The staff was also very helpful in moving our luggage to the second room for us while we were out and about. In the morning, we were served boiled eggs with pieces of bread by a rather quiet person who was not willing to answer questions, even with the Papago app. Fortunately, the shop assistant across the street was very kind and helpful. I think that a more traditional breakfast, perhaps with rice and kimchi, would have been appropriate for a hotel like this. However, the presence of other guests at breakfast and the ensuing conversation was priceless. The hotel is within walking distance of the Gyeongju National Museum, shopping, and many nice restaurants. The the hotel has three parking spaces on the street in the front. You have to move the cones that guard the area yourself. Overall, we had a good stay."
