1. Cat Ba Countryside Homestay

Cat Hai

"The homestay was a good experience in general but was quite far from Cat Ba Town. We were able to hire bicycles and ride to the national park and go hiking but there wasn't anything else that could be accessed without motorised transport. The rooms were ok, but in need of some maintenance. Bathrooms need updating and wallpaper was peeling off the ceilings. Catba View Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Cat Ba View Hotel may not be the most modern or luxurious hotel, and it doesn't offer amenities like a pool or gym, but what it lacks in facilities, it more than makes up for in hospitality. This is a small, family-run hotel, and Nam, the owner, along with his family, truly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Their genuine kindness, warmth, and exceptional hospitality made our stay memorable. It's the kind of personal attention and care that you rarely find at larger hotels. If you're planning a visit to Cat Ba, I highly recommend staying here. Don't let the lack of luxury amenities discourage you. What makes this place special isn't the building or the facilities, but the wonderful people who run it. We'd happily stay here again!"
