Very expensive for What it is. You get a room a couple of meters form a very occpied railway. In our case kitchen was occypied by a big group of loud men that was cooking curry for an army. Bathroom was a way to long from room when you have kids. Plus for providing earplugs.

Die Bettwäsche war Montags nach neu Bezug des Zimmers nicht sauber aucg die Sauberkeit der sanitären Anlagen kann besser sein!

The hostel location was really close to Buchenkamp U-Bahn station. ALDI supermarket was at the end of the road. The communication, via email and text messages, before arrival with the property manager was very good and the pre-arrival were instructions very clear (albeit some communication was in German). The facilities were very clean & modern and the twin rooms were spacious for two people. The hostel was very nicely decorated for Christmas. The local neighbourhood was quiet and so was the hostel. I had a very pleasant stay over the weekend.

Thin walls and train tracks as neighbors

Upside: Clean rooms, toilets and bathroom. Good communication with staff that provided us with room number and accesscode for late self checkin. Downsides: Very thin walls and noise from trains 10 meters from our window for some parts of the night. Staff is a little to glad for flower perfumed scents all over the hostel. No clear signs of how to find the toilets.

Das Hostel ist im allgemeinen schön eingerichtet. Die Damen-WC und Duschen waren sauber. Die Herren-WC und Duschen waren schmutzig. Die Übersendung des Tür-Codes per sms hat leider nicht geklappt. Durch mehrere Telefonate haben wir den Code dann mündlich erhalten. Leider übernachteten dort zur gleichen Zeit einige Ausländer, die sich bis 1 Uhr nachts in ihrer Landessprache lautstark stritten. An eine erholsame Nacht und erholsamen Schlaf war nicht zu denken.

Einfaches Hostel.Leider kein WC und Dusche auf dem Zimmer. Das habe ich vor Ort doch als lästig empfunden. (Wusste das aber vorher.) S-Bahn vor dem Fenster hat mich nicht gestört, aber ich war auch müde vom arbeiten.

Preis - Leistungs Sieger

Buchung und Vorlauf sehr angenehm. Sehr sauber und Ende 2017 renoviert. Eine Gebäudeseite ist direkt Richtung der Bahnlinie. Da könnte es etwas lauter sein, aber es wurde Ohrenstöpsel mit auf das Bett gelegt.
