Very Nice B&B in the senic, idlelic town of Hammondsport, about an hour and half drive from the university town of Ithaca - home to beautiful Cornell University. Great hosts with home cooked meals with quality sourced ingredients. Only downside is the drive itself through somewha Isolated albeit scenic country roads.

Absolutely beautiful property, fully renovated with modern and beautiful touches throughout. We stayed in the loft which had a magnificent deck off of the game room, a kitchen area as well as the large and comfortable bedroom/bath upstairs. Appreciated the owners for providing this pet friendly option. Location is near a music venue we attended in addition to numerous wineries, breweries and restaurants. The breakfasts provided were delicious and owner’s hospitality outstanding….we will definitely return to Moon Shadow

Truly Outstanding

We had a wonderful time at Moonshadow B&B over the past weekend. Our hosts, Jeanette and Steven, were great providing a wealth of local information for wine tasting, activities, and fine dining. They were kind, courteous, and sincerely interested in meeting with all guests and providing a fantastic experience. A huge plus was that Jeanette’s breakfast quality was truly 5 star - the best that we have ever had at a B&B. We will most certainly return when visiting Kueka lake.

Proprietor was attentive to everyone's needs, flexible with schedules, went out of her way to create an atmosphere and provide extras which both made the visit unique. The view of the lake was stunning, the room spacious and comfortable. There was plenty of room for guests to enjoy the whole house without feeling crowded, even if the weather had become unpleasant. My husband and I regularly enjoy backyard bonfires in the warmer seasons of the year. Even though we didn't participate in one at this B&B, they were all prepared for one, even down to the s'mores! Plus, I (Debbie) am an animal lover. The two miniature Aussies were adorable. And, it was clear that the two huge tom cats were the true owners of the house!

This was our first time to the Finger Lakes region, and we immensely enjoyed our time at Moonshadow. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The hosts (Jeanette and Steven) were wonderful. The breakfasts were fantastic. We signed up for their wine tour and that was wonderful, too, as it provides not only a nice sampling of wineries but also vistas and information from around the entire lake. We will definitely be back to Moonshadow the next time we're in the area!

This is definitely THE place to stay when visiting Keuka Lake. This was our fourth visit and we will be back again. Steve and Jeanette are wonderful hosts and the location is stunning. Beautiful bed and breakfast that is well kept, clean and charming without being cheesy. Decor and surroundings were beautiful. Owners were super nice and helpful, yet not intrusive. The breakfasts in the morning were over the top beautiful and delicious. Can’t say enough good things about this B and B. Only negative and it’s minor, it takes about 15 minutes to drive into town.
