Nice Hotel, perfect location and GREAT staff

Very nice stay at the Somerset Westpoint. A special Thank to the whole Team including Mr. Dat (Chris). They helped me a lot during my stay. I know the team from my past stays in Hanoi (at Sheraton). I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Doesn't matter if you are in Hanoi for Bussiness or leisure. Perfect location and great Team.

Definitely recommend!

Great staff. Friendly and knowledgeable. Provided me with an upgrade upon arrival. My receptionist spoke english very well which helped me. Rooms were fantastic. Had a washer/driver and detergent which was a nice extra.

Great value for money hotel in Hanoi

I was so surprised when I arrived in this hotel. Considering the cheap price I paid, I wasn't expecting a very nice hotel. I was very wrong. The suite was spacious and clean, the facilities were great and the staff were friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay here again. Hopefully I can stay for longer next time.

Nice hotel,but far from everything

Quick checkin. Everyone was polite and professional. Room is spacious. Lobby is beautifully decorated. We were on the 23rd floor but could still hear the traffic noise in our bedroom. Living room and kitchen area had a mildewy smell. Not sure if that came from the washer/dryer. Hotel was far from the old quarters and there were limited restaurants walking distance nearby.

Large and nice apartment

Nice clean large two-bedroom apartment for us. Good English and fast check in. Breakfast very good suit international travelers. Very good service, nice gym and pool, and everything up to expectations. Around 20 minutes drive to the old quarter tourist area, and there are restaurants around and also walking distance to the West Lake. Need to use Grab or taxi to go to other tourist areas. I would definitely stay again, as I am a bit overwhelmed by the traffic in the old quarter. See whether you want convenience or more relaxing area.

The location is great - right in Tay Ho and easy to find and get to. The property itself is right above a Starbucks so great place to work and grab a coffee - although why would you drink Starbucks in Vietnam?!? I was upgraded to a 2-bedroom room which was fine by me - high floor and large balcony overlooking West Lake. I need to give a special shout out to Nova at the reception desk. On Friday night, I left my phone in the Grab (I have NEVER DONE THIS!) and he immediately jumped online and on the phone trying to get in touch with Grab. He wasn't able to because their help center is only open during the day and it was after hours, but he did everything he could. Thankfully, the driver returned to the Somerset with my phone.

Good hotel, Good location

We traveled as a group of 10 but my family specifically was a family of 4 consisting of myself, my wife and our 2 children (15 yr old son and 12 yr old daughter). We had a room to ourselves with 1 king bed, 1 twin bed and 1 twin sofa bed. It was a tight fit but it's nothing we aren't unaccustomed to and we make it work. The room had all stated necessary amenities. The property was clean and the staff was friendly and polite. My son and I made use of the small but efficient gym, and my wife and daughter enjoyed the pool area. We did not eat on the property. There are 2 malls within walking distance for shopping or food. And there are plenty of places to eat or get coffee or tea nearby. It rained the last 2 days we were there but you may borrow an umbrella from the front door and can navigate the tunnels and covered areas so you don't really get wet. Or you can call a Grab to take you where you want to go under the hotels overhang area.
