โWe stayed at The Barfield for the first time this past Sunday night to break up our drive from Dallas to Angel Fire, NM and really enjoyed the comfort and style of this beautiful hotel. All of the staff we encountered were wonderful and the room is very modern and comfortable. We enjoyed it so much that we are considering staying there on our way back.โ
โOur room was so quiet; I never heard anything and I am a light sleeper. As others have stated, breakfast was the best! No issues parking and we were in and out several times.โ
โThis place is pretty terrific!! Despite it being an older building, it is really cute and overall amazing. Plenty of fun to be had here, with the indoor atrium area that boasts a koi pond, hanging chairs, corn hole, and connect four and an indoor pool as well. The Western Horeseman Club has straks cooked to perfection and a great vibe with wonderful service!! The staff at the hotel are very attentive and caring. This place rates 5 stars for me!!โ
โAbsolutely loved our stay!! Love the theme of the place super friendly staff!! Also have fresh cookies at the front desk I definitely recommend trying some! They were super friendly with any questions the pool was a bit to over chemicaled but over all I would come back for another stay if I found myself in Amarillo and would definitely recommend absolutely loved the theme and layout!! โ
