“The Roundabout was a very charming hotel situated in a quiet and peaceful countryside in UK - very appealing for a relaxing family weekend or couple's romantic getaway. However it lacked safety notices which should have been imparted by the hotel staff to foreigners who are new to this kind of environment - for instance, I got burned by the openly exposed copper pipe which was piping hot located along the wall underneath the heater and there was no notice of caution on the public gentlemen...

“The service was exceptional, also the food and cocktails. The place was really well decorated and looked elegant. Apart from one waiter at breakfast being a bit rude giving me the check without telling me no need to rush then saying goodbye to me in a kind of miserable way all staff delivered exceptional service. I would highly recommend it to people and will go back one day for sure.”

“We had a fantastic stay, including our dog, she enjoyed all the facilities and high level care given to us all. Never have we stayed anywhere so dog friendly but still had high standards. Staff were friendly, attentive and food was good. We had spa treatments which were excellent and enjoyed the spa facilities too. The wonderful walks around the Goodwood estate. Our only criticism was breakfast on the last day of our stay, it was much quieter after a very busy bank holiday but food wasn’t so...

“We had to walk up 42 steps to get to our room carrying our baggage. The place is adequate but dated and the hot water difficult to adjust safely. A window in our room was ajar and there was rot and mold around the frame which caused us to leave it that way. There is no one attending the front desk as the person who checked us in did double duty in the restaurant. The food was fine. ”

“We booked a snug room which was indeed snug (one side of the bed is right next to the wall) but very comfortable and beautifully decorated with lovely chocolates! ”
