“We stayed for one night and also ate both dinner and breakfast here. We were happy with our stay. The people who manage the space were helpful and friendly. We appreciated their hard work. Everything was clean. The pub-type food, while nothing extraordinary, was enjoyable and - again - the service was good and prompt. This is not a "hotel" in the same way that a Scandic or Radisson is. It is a guest-house, with rooms, bathrooms and beds similar to those you might find at a summer-camp. ...

“Opprinnelig militær kaserne, så ikke forvent hotellstandard. Men når det er sagt, så var det rent og ryddig. Gode muligheter for å ordne egen mat. Madrassene var noe harde for vår smak. Perfekt som utgangspunkt for fjellturer på ski, til fots eller sykkel. Ellers er det lite å ta seg til i nærområdet. Prisen var langt lavere enn alt annet vi fant i Lillehammer-området. ”

“We had an amazing stay at Trysil Hyttegrend, and would recommend it to anybody who wants to go skiing in Trysil. Roughly a 10 minute drive to the Trysil ski hills, and the cabin had everything we could want (great heating, TV, a lot of utensils, soap, toilet paper etc. etc.) The baguettes for breakfast were really good too. we used them to make sandwiches for the mountains, and saved a bunch of money compared to buying food on the mountain that way.”

“Ufattelige sød og imødekommende værts familie. Havde enda sørget for vand til os. Det var ikke deres skyld, at jeg troede det var toilet! Hyggelig hytte inde i skoven. Lidt langt til toilettet.”
