We had a room in the annex and it was excellent, roomy, and clean. The breakfast was a bit high at €20 per person per meal but it was very complete. Very little room to park to get bags out and paking is a couple of blocks away. €38.50 for two nights parking not at the hotel is terrible. I would suggest the hotel find guest parking nearer and lowered cost for their guests. A great city to visit but high cost of parking+city tax+high cost of breakfast+hotel price makes it feel like you've been gouged.

Great location. Room is nice. Due to the hotel being a historic building there is no air conditioning so the room is very warm on hot days. There is no parking or drop off area so be prepared to walk with luggage on cobbled streets from the parkade.

First was Sebastian- one of the owners- who made our trip special by upgrading us to a Junior Suite. The room was large and in great condition and all the staff were welcoming and charming. It really is a wonderful place and the outside fits in with the old town look and feel. Everything inside was modern and very well kept. The location is perfect and I highly recommend staying at this hotel.

Excellent location but keep an extra eye on which room you reserve. The one we reserved apparently was the one whose window opens to hallway which made it quite claustrophobic. If you prefer firm mattresses, beware, this might not be the most comfortable sleep you may have.

The hotel was in a great location, staff was friendly and rooms had character. Hotels.com advertised that it had air conditioning but it does not, it has fans. We came when it was 30C/90F+ and we didn’t sleep well because of only one fan. We understand more historical buildings won’t have AC, we just wish it wasn’t advertised that way. Otherwise, comfortable beds, great darkening curtains, clean bathroom and lots of character. We would stay here again, just not when it’s a heat wave.

Our junior suite was perfect for my sister and I. Very comfortable and cozy after a long day of sightseeing. Had a beautiful view of the castle. The restaurant was also excellent!
