As you look over the ledge you will find this cool sign hidden in the trees giving you some info about the falls. There is a small hike which you can take that brings you closer to the falls but since I was travelling alone it wasn't recommended as this park is home to many members from the Yogi family, Wolves, Grizzleys and Cougars.
Helmcken Falls, Wells Gray Provincial Park, BC Canada The fourth highest waterfall in Canada, where the Murtle River drops 141 meters. Just a short walk from nearby parking, but you can also walk the canyon rim trail. Wells Gray has an amazing array of waterfalls and you are pretty much guaranteed to find bears! #LifeAtExpedia #River
