Great, so close to the market, shopping, tourist sites, ferries, good restaurants and the hop on hope off bus. The staff were very helpful with calling taxis and advice on nearby restaurants. The room was comfortable, clean, breakfast buffet was excellent. Would stay again if I have the chance to go to Helsinki again.

This was a very nice hotel. With people behind the counter that were very helpful. They even remembered my name. The included breakfast was quite a sight to see. They covered everyone’s needs. I would stay again if I came back. Close to everything.

I enjoyed my stay here! I picked it based off of the lobby feature, which is pretty. I have to say however that the energy saving lighting in the hallways was a little too much. The lights stay off unless you have walked into the hallway, and while that is very efficient and there is low latency, it can be a little offputting. My recommendation would be to keep the lights in the hallway on -- but that would up electricity costs I guess. perhaps they can figure out some other solution Other than that, well located and a very pleasant property. :) Good breakfast (with a view)

Everything about the hotel is superb: location (3 min walk from centre), hotel is constructen mainly in wood (nice smell), excellent breakfast, complimentary sauna (of course). Definitely a default choice next time in Helsinki

My husband and I think this is our all-time favourite hotel we’ve stayed … anywhere! The hotel is a modern design marvel that is simple, airy, beautiful and calming with an amazing atrium. Staff were always kind, helpful and cheerful. Room was easy to live in during our 4-night stay: roomy, squeaky clean, extra high ceiling, lots storage, comfortable bed, beautiful bathroom. Though we didnt book a sea room view, we loved looking out the windows at a park with a lovely brick building with great architecture. The breakfast buffet was delicious, extensive, fresh, and even had freshly-baked Karjalanpiirakka, which I became addicted to! The extensive roof top garden with park-like setting is a wonderful place to spend time too, and has hammocks and even thick blankets when it is chilly outside. Location was very central, and a quick to get anywhere. The whole experience of staying at Solo Sokos Pier 4 was calming, relaxing and refreshing. We already miss this hotel, truly a wonderful experience, and will definitely be back for a longer stay next trip to Helsinki!
