Great location in District 1 and close to main attractions. Nice and clean room with the main amenities you need. The hotel manager is kind and helpful. Overall excellent stay. I will book again next time I am in the city. Just note that there is no lift.

This hotel is located in the heart of Bui Vien Street, which is very convenient. The hotel manager is a very kind woman. The rooms are very clean. I have stayed in several hotels in this area, but this one was the most comfortable.

Sunny Guest House is in a great location for District 1 in Saigon. The staff are very helpful and the rooms are clean. You really can't ask for much more for the price!!!

There was something quaint and peaceful about Sunny Guest House. We enjoyed walking down the narrow alley to the guest house, as every day we'd see new and interesting things. Great value for the money!!

The Sunny Guest House is great value for money. The staff were excellent and so helpful. The location is right in the middle of all the action only a 100 mtrs from Walking Street and about 300 mtrs from the underground Central Markets. The room was surprisingly quiet considering it was so close to everything and included a good bathroom with shower, fridge, TV, WiFi and plenty of space in the room.

Clean room. Despite being near Bui Vien, a happening and lively area, it was quiet. Quite easy to get food as there are some restaurants in the area. Excellent staff service. I had a hard pillow to sleep on the first night, but all I had to do, was tell the reception and it's change. Really happy with everything...

Great property for Price

The place is nice and clean. We were instructed to take shoes off before entering lobby why we did not mind at all. Bathroom is as very clean and updated but unfortunately there was a strong mold/mildew odor. That was probably the only complaint we had. Oh and no elevator. Which we didn’t mind because we’re on ground floor anyways. Hot running water and they provide champions and condisrioner along with tooth brush if needed. Overall nice place in an alley way of Bui vien walking street. Not too noisy. Great inexpensive place for a comfortable place to stay in city central.

Very good room for the price. Great service. Towels and sheests have seen their best days (stains) allthough they were washed. The curtain didn't block the light in the morning. Noise from the street not too bad. Noise from the hallway disturbed more easily.

Awesome hotel

It was a wonderful hotel. Are they renovating the building? It felt very clean. I used the laundry service, and my clothes were returned promptly the same day. I requested to print out my plane's E-ticket, and they promptly assisted me. Only interacted with two staffs, both fluent in English and very friendly. So communication was not a problem. Despite being very close to a bustling district, I didn't hear any bothersome noise from the hotel. There was just one concern. I thought I had reserved a room with a balcony when booking, but it didn't have one. For smokers, this is crucial, so I think it should be clearly stated.

Ideal location for setting the sights of HCM City

Clean & comfortable at a reasonable cost down a very interesting alleyway! We really enjoyed our initial stay here, so much so, that we rebooked when we returned to HCM! Close to shops, bars, salons, buses and even a park where it’s great to go and watch the locals exercising in the mornings. You can join in too! Our room was basic but clean with a good shower and aircon. The toilet does get wet when you shower but that happens in so many SEAsian bathrooms we’ve got used to it! The duvet was slightly small for the large bed but they have us a 2nd one when we asked. The staff are really friendly and will help you out with tips & advice. You are right behind the noisy walking street but there is no noise disturbance at all at the guest house and it’s a spectacle to see (take earplugs for the walk along the road) Would recommend this guest house for a local feeling city stay at a great cost. Thank you

The hostess was amazing. She was very friendly and we had a great conversation. She cleaned my room as they didn't have a housekeeper available and helped me bring my luggage up two flights of stairs. Very kind lady and I really appreciate her hospitality.
