What an amazing choice of places to stay in Hokitika! A beautiful building and the room was special in so many ways.The design was remarkable.Amenities were high quality. The ease of check-in made it stress-free. And the location was very convenient to enjoy the town.

Excellent place to stay in Hokitika! The entire place was spotless and tastefully decorated. We would have loved to stay for more than a night but unfortunately were on a tight schedule. Communication with the host was easy and response to questions were quick. Location is central and close to some really good restaurants. We have never stayed at such a spotlessly clean place ever before and we have stayed at quite a few luxury properties. Would highly recommend this place.

The firehouse smartly used firefighting equipment to decorate the property and apartments inside. Laundry is available to all who stay there. Walked one block to several fine dining options. Totally recommend this property to anyone traveling to/through Hokitika.

A great find in an amazing seaside town. This firehouse converted to lodging was everything we expected by the online info and more. We were fortunate to find an open room in the middle of summer and it was worth every penny! Definitely recommend and will stay again when in the area.

Beautifully appointed studio with the friendliest staff. Location was perfect, parking easy, and the use of a real washing machine (meaning one that washes in more than 25 mns for clean clothes) was a bonus.

Very cool property to stay. Love the decor and modern industrial features. Only thing that could possibly make the room better was a bathtub to soak in, however the apartment was absolutely lovely. Location was so handy right in town also.
