Beautiful sunny morning
The Kenneth L Batts park has a new walkway on the island that extends across the marsh and to the intracoastal waterway. It is a perfect place to walk out and see the sunset.
Saw this guy coming in for a landing. The pelicans have started their migration north; the island was full of them while I was there.

We had amazing sunsets the first two nights, and then 5 days of rain in a row.

Topsail island offers a lot to the tourist looking for a quieter beach experience. Everything from kayaking, pier fishing, sun bathing, surfing, great seafood, shopping, you know...the normal beach stuff, but topsail is different.
