Had a lovely few days away. This place was amazing from start to end: brilliant value for money. No they don’t have an onsite restaurant at the moment but The Union Inn is. 5 minute drive and the food is fabulous there.

Not a country club. The hotel has a nice history and we had a safe, clean room. It’s more like a country time share facility. After a long drive we arrived at 7:30 pm and wanted to jump in the pool but was disappointed to hear they closed at 7:00 pm which we thought was pretty early. No restaurant on site. No coffee onsite outside of a pot in your room.

Really nice clean comfortable room, good large en-suite too, did have a problem with the shower but all was sorted. Friendly staff on check in and during my stay. Good WiFi and amenities with microwave, toaster, kettle etc. very comfortable stay.

Property was well equipped and clean, beds were really comfortable. The pool, sauna, showers etc were all clean and everything including the outside area's were well kept. We had a great stay — excellent customer service, lovely facilities, and a peaceful atmosphere with birds around the houses. Our six‑sleeper house was good value, and the location made it easy to explore Cornwall and Bideford. The leisure centre was reasonably priced, and the staff were fantastic throughout. I’m giving 4 stars only because the TVs needed a share code for YouTube (and the bedroom TV didn’t support it), and the lounge sofa was a bit worn. Otherwise, a very good stay.

We stayed in the Lodge, it was AMAZING. we booked on a really short notice and the staff was able to decorate the lodge for my husband’s birthday as well. Staff is really polite and helpful. The lodge was very clean. We loved our stay, we even extended our stay.
