Hot tub was out of order, only decaf coffee pods in the room, lots of noise from people walking on floor above us, not a great location. Great breakfast though and the room was clean and nice.

Best of the worst in Garberville
They checked me in to a room that was dirty and still had another guest's belongings. 2nd room they provided the hot water handle in shower was backwards (cold was hot), carpet was stained, coffee maker was broken. Too bad because I stayed here 7-8 years ago and it was very well kept up at that time, best in Garberville by far. Now just the best of the worst, unfortunately.

No soap
I loved the hospitality and the staff! There was no soap or body wash to tske a shower. The body wash was empty and I didn't know that until I took a shower.

Nice stay with a twisted
Front desk called around 11pm & asked us to move the car because our car on top of the line. They need the space for other customers. We did immediately even thought we were in bed already. That night the parking lot had less than 10 cars. There were so many empty spaces in the parking. We found the call was totally uncalled for & not being considered. Other than that it is nice hotel. We don’t mind to stay there again. Breakfast was excellent.

We did not feel safe at this hotel. We decided to check out after 10 minutes we checked in because we saw creepy people and homeless getting high at the parking lot. We definitely won’t back this hotel and we are very disappointed because it is as expensive.

The covers on the bed were dirty, there were ants in the room on the bed and on the curtains, the hot tub was out of order, the pool was so murky you couldnt see the bottom steps, the cheese and wine tasting had moldy fruit, however the woman working the front desk was the sweetest and most helpful ever.

Hotel was fine, but the Town of Garberville is struggling, many closed up buildings. A number of homeless people walking the streets. Keep your vehicle locked up and remove vauables from your vehicle and place them in your room at night.

I was quick to judge because the property seemed outdated but they were in the middle of renovation. The back of the property was quite nice but the pool area was closed. The morning staff was great and the breakfast room was very pretty.

I like Best Westerns I feel they do things right. The room was very clean the staff very friendly and they have a good breakfast. Overall if you need a place to stay after a long drive any Best Western is a good idea.

The pool was still closed. I’m not sure if that was listed prior to us checking in.They are renovating which is nice but things are being done without care. It’s expensive for the area in my opinion. The room was nice and if you have a big group they can accommodate everyone.

No concerns with the room. We had a balcony overlooking the out-of-service pool that was full of gross green dirty water. The breakfast area was very empty; very few options. They were out of bacon and sausage. They had a fridge, where you would typically find yogurt, etc, which was completely empty.

Oh my not sure where to start… no clue how they got t the rating they have. This place is a disaster. .. simply a disaster. Lobby packed with boxes of who knows what. On Expedia said they had a pool… not!!! Room was gross… area was sketchy. Couldn’t even get some hot water for tea in the morning. Oh, and they double charged me for the room!!! So we get to deal with this issue until it’s credited properly. How they justify charging $245 for this dump is beyond me. If you can avoid this place, do so at all cost. Heck, I would have preferred sleeping under a Red Wood tree!!!
