Be aware they charge for things you did not ask.
Horrible service. Very rude staff. They charged drinks and food we never asked for. Same happened to many other guests! Far away of everything.

Mysigt ställe.
Vackert ställe med egen strand, trevlig hjälpsam personal som tyvärr inte snackade speciellt bra engelska, rent o snyggt överallt, supergod mat till bra pris, stenhårda sängar som alla andra ställen i Vietnam, resorten ligger lite öde. Mopeder finns att hyra. Jättenöjd, åkergärna tillbaka.

amazing bungalow and beach to relax
Super great stay, the best deal for price, beach and away from the rush of the city yet still 15 min walk to the main Street to get fruits and stuff. the only bad point is that resort restaurants all around serve mostly meat European dishes totally overpriced also. However from all resorts in the area this one is the best , bungalows are great and nicely spread, I fully recommend staying long! We stayed 10 nights and wished for 1 week more :)

Arnaque dés notre arrivée . on a dû batailler 45 minutes pour avoir la chambre que l'on avait reservée et payée d'avance . le lendemain . 2eme arnaque avec la location d'un scooter hors d'usage ( pas de feux de route ni freins) c'est totalement irresponsable . . la suite de notre sejour c'est bien déroulée . petit déjeuner buffet varié . menage fait tous les jours . . le site est tranquille . la mer est claire avec trop grande plage déserte ..

Bra lågprismotell.
Mycket trevlig och tillmötesgående personal på detta boende. Standarden motsvarar vad man betalar för. Lägg dock några extra kronor på en bungalow med havsutsikt. Väldigt hårda sängar. Chi i receptionen var väldigt mån om att vi skulle trivas och ansträngde sig för att hjälpa oss. Stor eloge till personalen. Ansträngningen förändrade dock inte standarden. Vi hade valt ett dubbelrum. Maten var bra, frukost ingick men var väldigt begränsad i utbud och inte i vår smak. Omgivningen runt hotellet var väldigt smutsigt men nära till t ex Vinpearl, garden center pepper farm och sjöstjärnestranden. Själva hotellområdet var rent och fint. Stranden var underbar och bjöd både på bra snorkling och vackra solnedgångar. Allt sammantaget så är det ett hotell värt pengarna om man undviker dubbelrummen.

Relaxing beach stay
I stayed a week at Vung Bau and really enjoyed my stay, minus a few problems. I was contacted by email regarding pickup, without problems. Greeted upon arrival by Chi, with a drink and taken immediately to my room. A small garden view room, spotlessly clean. further away from the restaurant but also away from noise of the dogs, chickens and roosters. Great water pressure, hot water as well! Wifi a little spotty and electricity out in my room one night, was resolved quickly. Breakfast included, list of made to order then as the hotel filled a buffet. I was limited to what could eat as most selection has meat in the dishes. most of the food was good but the prices higher than other areas. also found the service sporadic and inconsistent. One day not receiving my drink because server was playing pool, another day they simply forgot my drink. The managers Loum and Chi are so kind and are constantly trying to ensure your stay is perfect but language and culture differences cause a few issues with the other restaurant staff. The good outweighed the few mishaps...I enjoyed the simple, quiet, isolated beach and would gladly return.

Quiet and peaceful on a nearly deserted beach. Okay food at ok prices, mainly aimed at Russians who seemed to be majority of people staying there

The beach was way more eroded than on photos online. Staff acts very indifferent and casual, and it is very remote. Good for solitude.

I stayed here last year and found it very good. Alas this year they have lost their beach due to a cyclone.There is a lot of junk and tyres that need to be removed in order to have a bit of space on the beach thats left. The rooms are great and kept spotless. The sea in this part of phu Quoc is one of the cleanest that i've seen.

Beliggenheden bliver ikke bedre, lige på stranden. Det ligger langt fra byen men taxi er billig og nemt at få fat i så det fungerer.Ressort er familieejet ikke nogen stor hotelkæde. Det er spartansk indrettet, ikke noget luksus. Betjeningen er venlig og glad. Maden er varieret, spændende og generelt god. Som alle andre steder på øen er der store affaldsproblemer på stranden, på området, over alt. De samler på stranden hverdag men det er så massivt at det kommer igen hurtigt.

Ett riktigt mysigt ställe på en mycket fin strand. Vänlig och omtänksam personal som dock inte pratade så mkt engelska, endast chefen. Ett av de bästa hotellen vi bott på i sin prisklass.

Vil du gerne være alene ved en dejlig strand er dette stedet. Vil du gerne at der ikke er mange valgmuligheder, dvs du kan spise på deres restaurant, er dette stedet. (Det er muligt at tage en bil til andre spisesteder, men de er længere væk og det betyder 10 minus køretur på en svært fremkommelig vej) personalet er søde og velvillige. Stedet var lidt mere slidt end billederne viste.( gamle strandstole, der var gået i stykker og ingen parasol)

Location is perfect but that’s all .
The food and hotel staff are terrible. The staff do not understand the menu and continue to bring incorrect food to the table ... also the quality of food is disgusting. The beach is absolutely stunning but not very well kept or cleaned by the staff. This hotel needs a manager and proper well trained staff as it has incredible potential.

Nice bungalows on a great beach
Our stay was very nice. The beach is beautiful -the best beach with asenteesta we saw on the island -and staff was friendly and helpful. Bungalows are nice and quiet. So far the beach is empty when you walk towards south but there is lot of development going on. Some foods were really good, some so and so. It's good to rent a motorbike to see places around. We also walked to CuaCan and took taxi back. There you lots of local eateries.

Best budget hotel in the North of Phu Quoc for me
The hotel is nice enough, it's a pretty remote part of the island and a short walk to Dai Beach which (if you stop before you hit the Vinpearl) is totally deserted and pristine. Not as nice at the Bamboo hotel up the road but probably a lot cheaper and, from the look of it at least, nicer than the other two options in the area.

Kjempebra bungalow, eneste var litt hard seng, men det gikk bra. Fantastisk mat og personell! Litt avsidesliggende, men det var midt i blinken for oss som var ville slappe av og komme unna støy. Fantastisk for barn og familie. Anbefales.

Great quiet location but can be a curse...
The resort and the beach is stunning, I couldn't fault that however the only downsides is that it is so secluded that it costs a lot in taxi fares to go anywhere or you have to hire a scooter (which I couldn't drive!) Perfect if you don't want to leave the resort. However the other downside is that the food is below average. I was not impressed with the food although the range of food was good and it was expensive for what it was! Probably because you couldn't really go anywhere else to eat as an alternative. Therefore, if you are happy to sit on the beach and are not too fussy in good food then this is the place for you! The staff are friendly and helpful and one or two speak English. They do sometimes forget that you have asked for something but, other than that, they are super nice and the place is beautiful as it has its own private beach.

Thật kinh khủng, ngay lúc đi từ sân bay tìm tới được khách sạn đã thất vọng, đường vào lầy lội tối tăm, tới nơi được hai chị ăn mặc lôi thôi đón bảo là nhân viên khách sạn đây, vào thấy 5 tha h niên cởi trần trục trục ngồi đánh bài chửi bậy oang oang, sợ quá bỏ tiền chạy đi thuê khách sạn khác. Hotels không nên đưa ks tiêu chuẩn như này lên bán, cho dù có rẻ nữa cũng mất uy tín, mà tôi đặt giá 1.25 triệu 1 đêm cung không phải quá rẻ !

Очень душевный отель
Были в отеле 4 дня, все понравилось. Отель расположен на пляже, отдаленном от города Донг-Донга, поэтому там тихо и спокойно. Можно взять байк и поехать в центр, т.к. магазинов около отеля нет, соответственно, цена в кафе отеля повыше, чем в городе. Но все компенсируется персоналом отеля - все приветливые, все улыбаются, готовы помочь, к концу отдыха - почти родные. Бунгало все стоят рядом с пляжем, в них чисто и просторно (правда, были и небольшие недочеты в виде плохо закрывающейся двери в ванную, но это мелочи). В номере кондер, вентилятор, wi-fi, 2 двуспальные кровати, тумбочки, душ, туалет, только телевизора нет - сначала непривычно, потом решили, что это даже плюс. Пляж чистый. Так что об отеле отзыв только положительный.

Pathetic hotel, lovely beach
The hotel's beach is probably the best in the bay and you can also use completely deserted 2.5km part of the beach to the left of the hotel. Nice beach is the end of the hotel's advantages. The breakfast is unsavory: simple omelet undercooked, too much pepper in the soup, dirty cutlery, juices diluted with water. The prices are much higher than one can expect for such food quality. The stuff barely understand English and is completely DIY oriented. In spite of the fully prepaid bungalow with sea view, they tried to settle us in a garden room. Later I've seen that trick done with other guests. No apologies. "Need a sunbed matress? Bring it yourself, I am here just to tell you where to find them". "An old lady wants to move her sunbed? No worries, other hotels guests will help her". The only stuff responsibility is cleaning the beach from fallen leaves in the morning. Garbage is everywhere on the hotel territory. There is also a big hotel scrapyard just on the beach, what a shame! The sea view bungalow doesn't guarantee you a sea view, cause it is partly blocked by trees and other bungalows. There is no garden, just some trees and bald lawn. The bungalow itself is ok as long as you don't mind lizards in the room, non closable bathroom door, cracks on the walls paint, squeaky bed and lack of hot water. Or, and by the way, I was hit by the electricity in the bungalow 105 and my tablet went dead. Excuses from the manager? Compensation? You are joking! Avoid this place.
