check in should take place within 8pm
my hudsand & I arrived after 8:30 pm. we were embarrased by the discovery that there was no one in the office even lockded. But there was a note on the wall. I realised I was in Europe where people don't work late. Except that, everything was fine at this hotel.We went to a grocery shopping near the hotel and enjoyed the real european life, there.

Pour la baignoire pas de bouchon et pas très propre. Pas reçu le code pour accéder à la chambre. J'ai dû appeler à mon arriver. Une ampoule grilée Tasse à café sale et café pas bon.

Wie ein Motel, das abgerissen werden sollte. Altes Bad, dünne Fenster, keine Nachtische, winziges Zimmer, ganze Nacht Technomusik und Schnellstraße. Einziger Lichtblick war, dass es erlaubt ist, einen Hund mitzubringen. Der Park in der Nähe war schön.

Some things would have to be renewed in the hotel. The door was damaged, water was running out of the shower head hose, you could hear everything (from outside and other people). When we entered the bathroom, there was hair on the toilet and in the bathtub. I personally find it disgusting. On the website it says "room cleaning" which was not the case. For me personally it was not a problem that the room was not made every day but something like toilet paper refill would have been good. But the staff was very nice and polite

We do not offer daily cleaning for this room type and you are only entitled to a weekly cleaning from an 8-day stay onwards. Environnement bruyant ce soir là. Chambre vieillote et pas très propre avec des oreillers d'un autre âge et les toilettes bouchées. Rapport qualité prix plus que décevant mais une dame a l'accueil fort sympathique

Outdated property, the room looked like a storage facility, to me it was a scary place. No complimentary tea/coffee like other places. You can hear the next door neighbor.

The location is great so the facilities. However, it smells from cigarettes. The cigarettes, half burned, are everywere. The place need cleaning andsome restriction for smokers.

More for your money else where.
The lady in reception was friendly and gave us a little leaflet with information about Bruges and the free WiFi and gave us our room key. (Did get sightly concerned that the police were in the hotel reception/breakfast room when we turned up!) . Stayed here only 1 night as a quick stopover in-between travelling to different countries. Payed €109 for a room with 1 double bed and 1 single. This was a steep price for what we got. Yes the bathroom was clean albeit needing a good update as picture show. The beds OK, clean towels provided. The floor was filthy I didn't take my shoes or socks for once until I got into bed. No kettle in our room. The room needs a good update as dated and looking very tired. If your a light sleeper this may not be the place for you.  The road noice even at 2am was continuous (writing this at 2am due to the noise).  I could hear people from below us banaging around all night. Sounded like they were moving furniture around all night!!!!!?? I certainly would not bring family's with children here. Much better places locally for the price what we paid. Yes it is close the Bruges centre it's self only a  10minute cycle ride. We didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that.

The only good thing is the parking, otherwise everything was bad. First the hotel is far from the city, it's good only if you have a car. Also, check in is at 16h and the check out is at 10h, so we paid almost 70 euros to stay just for 18 hours! The room is small and not clean, no fridge! No sound isolation, we heard people talking (neighbors and people passing outside). The parking is good, the outside os nice, there are trees and plants. But still, I think it does not deserve that 63 euros!

I thought the room for the price is great value but it is minimal with no coffee in the room but for a price at the front door. The beds were comfortable, clean and the rooms spotless. You will need to take a car to the city center and pay for parking there but hey do provide free parking at Value Stay.
