My husband and I were very disappointed with our stay here :( Our room was dirty and had an adjoining door to the room next to us. Very loud. There also was no overhead shower head (only hand held) and also no overhead room light. The breakfast food was extremely limited (and very carb heavy night I add). The photos are deceiving—the facility is old and run down and honestly a bit sketchy…we decided to stay in after the sun went down :/

While you can see they tried to make improvements, they are cheap and not holding up. Rooms were dark and seating stained. Bathroom floor sticky. Hair dryer gross Live and learn!

Put us in a room so very far away and could not access the outside door from the parking lot. the drains were clogged and disgusting , and the shower was not very good either will have to say all the staff was very nice

I like that it is walkable to other dining options like Waffle House. It is a short drive (20 minutes) to the airport and the staff was friendly.

The property appears well kept in pictures. However it’s in need of some serious maintenance. Upon entering the entrance sign is bent over. Screens on windows hanging off. Room smelled like an old basement. Several room updates needed. Shower bar was hanging off. Broken furniture. This hotel is good for an overnight stay at best. None of the comforts of home! Staff was friendly that’s the only thing good about this place!

Surprisingly wonderful at a budget price
Welcoming staff. A few issues I brought to her attention were quickly addressed. The Continental breakfast was better than most places, especially the quality of the coffee. A clean well appointed room with comfortable bedding made my stay welcoming. I felt safe with my vehicle in the parking lot, as I was told exactly where to park to take advantage of the cameras. And it was all at a budget price. I will put Microtel on the top of my future list of stays.

Property was adequate for the value, safe, clean (except bathrooms could use more detailed cleaning such as behind toilet, pipes under sink, etc). Property met expectations based on reviews, older building but sufficient for the stay. There was a noise problem with what sounded like unsupervised children in a room above us, when it was reported to the front desk they promptly handled. Friendly staff

The rooms had a stale odor. The room was not very clean with evidenced of previous guest left in the room. This included remnants of marijuana visibly left in the window. Breakfast offerings were not desirable. Staff was friendly but did not resolve issues.

The manager and staff was exceptional!!! The room was nice, but not clean. Terrible mildew/stagnant odor as soon as you entered the room. Hospitality tried to remedy the situation with febreze, did not work. Batheoom was disgusting, not really clean at all, shower, mirror, baseboards, etc.

Motel Quality at Hotel Prices
The door lock didnt work. Staff had to let us into the room. The ned wasnt made when we got there. Some kids sock was still on the floor. The staff, while helpful when we got their attention, didnt pay attention to anythjng going on around them.

Pay to stay somewhere better!
This hotel reeks of smoke even though it is non-smoking. It is circulated throughout. We were so tired we slept there on a Friday night. Saturday we went down for breakfast and asked to be moved and the woman at the front desk gave me such attitude since I "was the first to complain", which is crap if you read the recent reviews. She told me she would leave a note for the afternoon person to move us to the first floor. Of course, the afternoon person had no note, was completely swamped with no help at the front desk, but did her best to help. She did authorize a refund so I could stay somewhere else. That is the ONLY good thing. Breakfast was meek, bread was hard, drinks were not working. The pillows in the room were micro, like the hotel name, something buglike was in one of the beds. The shower was not clean. Just nasty. Beware.
