아름다운 캠프
캠프의 야경이 아름답습니다. 야외에서 저녁식사를 하는 것이 즐겁습니다. 산책하기 좋고 자전거도 있습니다. 보트 프로그램이 다양합니다. 예약을 해야합니다. 힌토뮤지엄이 있습니다. 작지만 이곳에 담긴 슬픈 역사을 알 수 있습니다. 12월에 간다면 밤 동안 추위에 대비해야 합니다. 차를 직접 운전해서 들어올 때 캠프 입구에 군인이 지키고 있습니다. 밤에 가로등이 없어 어둡습니다. 조금 놀랐지만 다 괜찮습니다.

방콕에서 꽤 멀어요. 자연속에서 휴식을 기대하면 좋을듯. 눈에 보이지도 않는 모기가 엄청나네요. 헌혈하고 왔습니다. 3박4일 매일 같은 메뉴의 단촐한 아침, 저녁에 실망.

It was a very good place, location was very naturely and the staff omg. the staff there r so friendly and kind. My dad is a vegeterian and my mom cannot eat spicy stuff for health reasons and we told them that during dinner so the next day they made us dishes that accomodated to our needs rven though yheir dinner is a set menu style

We loved our stay! Our kids loved riding the complimentary bikes around the grounds. The natural pool was beautiful and fun. Dinner was excellent! The tents were clean. We will be back!

Friendly staff, but camp needs some improvements.
The camp was really cute and had it's own charms, but there were many little things that could be improved when it came to maintenance. Hooks had loose screws and nozzles kept falling off. The museum wasn't inviting because lights were always off and the gift shop could be reorganized a bit. Ordering drinks or food off schedule at the on site restaurant/bar always seemed to be a bit complicated and not as easy as the website makes it sound, but the staff were really great people and always tried their best to help with what they could. There were many parts of the camp that were beautiful though and the candlelit dinners were fun. Unless you plan on going on the extra tours or getting package deals, it's better for a shorter stay. My wife and I had a pleasant experience overall, but we probably wouldn't go back.

テント式の独立したロッジで、エアコンもトイレ、洗面もついていて、虫や蚊に悩むこともなく、非常に快適でした。我が家も一歳児を連れて行きましたが、小さいお子さんを連れた家族も多く、スタッフも親切です。 小さいけれどプールやブランコ、自転車貸し出しもあります。 追加料金でアクティビティもあり、我が家は川下りを楽しみました。都会に疲れたらぜひ訪れたい場所です。

It was a peaceful, clean and beautiful place to stay. The food was delicious, the staff extremely courteous, and the activities that you could partake in, if you wished too, were varied. We did the boat ride to the Mon Village and Lava cave which was very interesting. The natural swimming pool was delightful and refreshing.

Spændende at bo i junglen, med floden og dyrene som de nærmest naboer. Flot område, perfekt til en 2/4 dage, alt efter hvordan man vil have det, husk dog der er rig mulighed for halv/heldags udflugter til div. ( dog kun mod merpris ) dog regn med en del dyrere udflugt spiser, end normalt Thailand priser, da camper ligger for sig selv og har deraf monopol ;-) Sejle på floden 1 time ca 300kr, hvis inkl. Bambus rafling, i 45 min, ca 500kr Men skal prøves, taxi inkl. Vente og Retur til hellfire pas som kun er max 5 km væk, men meget stejl vej, til 200kr men skal ses;-) ( alt kr er 4-5 personer ) Men husk at have min. En halv dag, bedre en hel dag, til blot at dase på camper, og nyde området. Stort Plus den autentiske lille sten pool, total flot lige som billederne. Badning i floden helt umuligt her, da vildt meget strøm, også for voksne svømmere, samt total beskidt vand Dog som minus er at camper er lettere slidt, og fremstå ikke helt tip tip, altså ikke lige så flot som på billederne, (men ellers ægte fotos) i forhold til prisen, for ophold. Og husk for Guds skyld at booke med mad, da ikke andre spise muligheder i området, andet end på campen! Men Alt i alt en god oplevelse, hilsen familen med 2piger 10og 12

Glamping in the jungle
This is a pretty cool place to stay. Sadly for us we chose to go in the rainy season which dampened our experience, but can imagine in season this is great place. "Tents" were large with a nice balcony. Inside beds were comfortable with a decent amount of space around. We had 2 tents, one with a bathroom that was half outside and one that was fully enclosed. Showers were good and an experience. As you'd expect from a tent there was a lot of outside noise from the jungle so don't expect to sleep much! But don't let it take away from the experience. The food for dinner was a buffet style and was ok, breakfast similar and ok. Drinks are slightly expensive but not extortionate. Sadly the pool was closed when we were there due to flooding and the worst rain for 20 years! However, they did arrange to take us to one of their sister resorts and use their pool which was a really cool infinity pool next to a lake with a tree top adventure (which we didn't do). a nice touch. We got the train to Namtok then got a taxi to the resort. The journey takes you passed the Hellfire pass entry. We made the mistake of checking into the hotel and then booking hintoks transfer back to hellfire pass which they charge 900 Bht return for which is pretty high for 4Km each way. I would suggest stopping en route to Hintok and doing Hellfire Pass (well worth a visit) and then continuing on.

Very good service from the team. It was raining heavily when we arrived at the resort, someone was already waiting for us with umbrellas. Check in was fast. Natural spring pool was cooling and relaxing but the edge of pool was filled with dead leaves. Could have cleaned it off easily for guests. Dinner and breakfast was good. Quality of bed can be better.

Hotel in a quiet area close to the river
The stay was a lovely experience, very quiet area next to the Kwai river, with a natural pool (about 30 stairs down to reach it next to the river). The garden is pleasant and evening BBQ dinners great. Breakfast adequate with omelette station and a small selection of bread and croissants, and the usual Thai breakfast selection. Tents are clean and equipped with air conditioning units. Hellfire pass is about 8 minutes away by car. Bicycles available for free on-site.

Nicely positioned above the river
Staff were very welcoming and efficient, nicely positioned above the river, grounds are lovely, inviting natural rock pool, breakfast and dinner were excellent, great atmosphere around the fire for the evening barbecue, they cater well for dietary requirements, only negative is that the rooms and other buildings are in need of maintenance, broken lights, timber needs attention, could be fabulous if this was improved overall a pleasant stay but not outstanding.

Beaucoup de charme pour cet établissement, situé aux abords de la rivière Kwae. Néanmoins, l'hôtel est très isolé et les prix pratiqués par l'établissement pour les excursions sont exorbitants comparés à ceux proposés par les autres organismes touristiques sur place. Les tarifs de l'hôtel sont également chers par rapport aux établissements dans la région de la Kanchanaburi alors que la structure est vieillissante. Les buffets du dîner et du petit-déjeuner sont copieux et savoureux.

Nicht ganz so schön und gepflegt wie in YouTube
Das Camp ist ok, etwas zu teuer für den Zustand und die Lage. Aktivitäten werden überteuert angeboten. Man ist aber darauf angewiesen, da es in der Nähe absolut nichts gibt. Auf den Frühstücksbuffet waren Ameisen, Abendessen war ok. Klimaanlage hat laut gebrummt, aber nicht gekühlt.

A lovely getaway from Bangkok!
We stayed two nights at Hintok River Camp and had a wonderful time, considering the not so ideal weather we had during our stay. It rained heavily throughout our stay. Our tent was clean and tidy and spacious, but because of the wet weather, the beddings felt a bit damp but that's just nature doing its work and it didn't bother us much. One thing about the tent that I feel can be improved was the water pressure of the shower, though I know this is not a regular hotel structure and can't expect the same shower experience. What I enjoyed the most was the service and activities we joined while we were there. We cycled to the Hell Fire Pass on our first day using the hotel's bikes. The course was quite easy and the staff gave us detailed directions. On our second day, we booked a spa+cooking class experience at their sister hotel Resotel. It was a lovely morning and lunch. After lunch, we went to do the treetop experience at another sister hotel Home Phutoey. It was soooo much fun! Highly recommended! Another highlight was the dinner that was included in the room fee. It was quite a feast! Overall, we felt really well taken care of by the staff and service we received there. It was a lovely break away from the busy Bangkok!

Nice experience, but expensive.
It was an amazing experience to stay in this hotel. However, the cost of the hotel is quite expensive. Staff was exceptionally helpful and nice. You will need insect repellent while staying there. That kind of price might not worth the stay. You could get better hotels and comfort in kanchanaburi with that price.

Great getaway from Bangkok
PROS: Breakfast and Dinner buffet; Access to nature and the river; Close to national parks and day-trip activities. CONS: I cannot think of one. We loved our stay at the hotel. Next time we will try other hotels in the area that belong to the same management.
