휴양하기에 최적의 장소
이 호텔을 선택할때는 정말 휴식을 필요로하는 분이어야 합니다. 주변에는 자연 경관 뿐이어서 식당이나 유흥을 원하신다면 도시근처를 선택하셔야 합니다. 힐링을 원하신다면 여기만한 장소가 없을 듯 합니다. 조용한 자연경관에 나만의 시간.. 친절한 직원. 며칠 잘 쉬었다가 갑니다.

Kelapa comes right up to a black sand beach, and the view from the pool is fantastic. The rooms are more than spacious, and if you have a villa with a private pool you will have a full size pool; not a plunge pool. It was the perfect escape to wind down and relax after spending the first part of our trip in the more busy and crowded areas of Bali. If you are looking for a slower pace and more space than the more touristy areas of Bali this is the place.

Welcome to paradise
Absolutely incredible stay at the Resort. Everybody is so friendly and helpfull and we feal like home. The pools and beach are just beautiful. We are sad to be leaving, but we will be back in the future for sure. Highly recommend you stay here, you won’t regret it at all. I can just say: PARADISE

Vi bookede i god tid et ophold hos kelapa spa and retreat, hvor der på forhånd var blevet betalt. Vi ankommer til vores første hotel på Bali, og modtager 2 dage inden indtjekning på kelapa en underlig e-mail om, at vores reservation er blevet annulleret. Begrundelsen er dårlig Google oversæt lignede engelsk, og vi får ingen hjælp fra hotellet. Heldigvis hjælper hotels.com amerikanske kundeservice os, og de finder et nyt hotel til os. Det bliver lovet at kelapa vil stå for regningen her, da vores reservation er annulleret og vi ingen refundering har modtaget. Efter indtjekning finder vi ud af, at kelapa ikke har booket det nye hotel eller betalt det som aftalt. Vi kontakter igen hotels.com, som ender med at ordne det hele for os, da kelapa er fuldstændig umulig at samarbejde med. Jeg ville derfor ALDRIG råde nogen at booke et ophold hos kelapa spa and retreat NOGENSINDE. Dog er hotels.com en fremragende side, og deres kundeservice får 5/5 stjerner fra os.

Palvelu hotellilla oli äärimmäisen ystävällistä. Henkilökunta kyseli usein kuulumisiamme ja opasti mielellään Balin nähtävyyksiä. Yleinen allasalue oli todella opea, varsinkin kun meri oli siinä vieressä, niin oli helppo käydä pulahtamassa meressä.

Amazing.. We went for honeymoon and it was heaven for us.. Staffs were so friendly specially kadat.. Big Infinity pool and resort so big u dont need to go elsewhere. Private beach was super clean and they offered bycicle free.. Me and my wife joined so many activities, romantic dinner, deep sea fishing with fisherman.. Everythingwas fabulous. Later we went to Kuta but after being in Kelapa with best experienc, we didnt liked kuta much.. Thank u Kadat for your hospitality.. Cheers! Delwar and Nishat

This is the best place to stay in Bali! Customer service is hand's down the best ever around. From checking in to the restaurant to the cleaning people huge congratulations to you! Food is unbelievable. They will take care of everything you could want and want to do. It's 3 hrs from the airport so what worth it. Taking day trips to the tourist areas is easy with the driver you get. Right on the beach away from people and the surf is legit! Thank you kelapa for an amazing stay we will be back year after year now! You made customer's for life with excellence in service.

Great Place
Great place, clean, nice breakfast/restaurant, private beach etc. 10 min drive to the surf. This is the best hotel in Medewi together with Umadewi Hotel.

Glorious resort, wonderful staff.
The staff made this place extra special. They were so attentive to our needs and never once failed to greet us with a smile. The resort is heaven on earth, so peaceful and relaxing with a quiet beach. We were sad to leave. It's very remote, so I recommend choosing to go on one or two of the tours arranged by the resort to see the island properly. Our two trips were incredible and our drivers were both such nice people. They made sure we got an authentic experience. Highly recommended this resort to couples.

The food and staff were outstanding - friendly and willing to assist in any way. The unfortunate part of the resort is lack of facilities if you want more in the way of night life. If this is not your thing it's a perfect place to relax and enjoy the amazing senery...

Erinomainen villa-hotelli kaukana Balin vilinästä
Erinomainen villa-hotelli kaukana Balin vilinästä ja vilskeestä! Yksityinen villa oli todella suuri (oleskelutila/makuuhuone, vaatehuone, kylpyhuone sisällä sekä ulkona sekä oma piha uima-altaalla, aurinkotuoleilla ja oleskelualueella), moderni ja kaunis. Siivous toimi erinomaisesti, mutta villassa näkyi hieman kulumisen merkkejä pienissä yksityiskohdissa. Yleinen piha ja uima-allas olivat hyvin ylläpidettyjä ja rannalle oli vain pari askelta. Hotelli on myös suhteellisen pieni kokonaisuutena, joten ruuhkaa altaalla, aamiaisella tai muissa palveluissa et tule näkemään. Hotellin oman ravintolan ruoka (aamiainen ja illallinen) olivat erinomaisia. 2hlön 3 ruokalajin illallinen juomineen kustansi noin 50€. Henkilökunta oli todella auttavasta! Hotelli on kuitenkin kaukana kaikesta muusta, joten jos haluat tehdä retkiä muualle saarelle, vie se aikaa: saaren liikenne on todella ruuhkaista ja tiet kapeita. Esimerkiksi matka lentokentältä hotellille vie n. 3h. Päivän reissut hotellilta varattuna (ei muita palveluntarjoajia) kustansivat n. 80€/2hlö/10h. Hotellin lähellä ei myöskään ole paljoa nähtävää tai muita ravintoloita. Mutta jos haluat rentoutua omassa rauhassa kauniissa ympäristössä ja nauttia hyvästä palvelusta, on Kelapa (paikallisten ääntämänä Klapa) erinomainen hotelli!

The property is a great place for getting away from everything. I liked the calmness and the nice staff but I didn’t like the fact that there’s nothing interesting within the close radius and that the retreat had only a kitchen and a spa, they could add some amenities since there is literally nowhere else to go

En enastående anläggning för den som vill koppla av med god mat, massage och avskildhet. Fina stora rum. Vi hade vår pool direkt utanför sovrummet och på morgonen kunde man öppna glasdörrarna ut, ta två steg och sjunka ner i poolen. Magiskt. Det fanns möjligheter till utflykter, men vi fann ingen anledning att lämna hotellet på de fyra dagarna vi var där.

The Kelapa retreat and spa is the most incredible place I’ve ever stayed! The whole vibe was just beautiful, the staff go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and enjoy your time and they always have a smile on their faces. Kadek was so helpful prior to us arriving, organising every thing for me via email and Ari was always there to help us with his team. The food at the restaurant is authentic and delicious, the rooms are beautiful.. I can’t wait to go back and highly recommend Kelapa

This style of resort to a very specific and minimalistic which appeals to some people. My wife loves it, me personally I found it somewhat boring, too grey concrete like and somewhat too dark. The staff however is amazing and super helpful

Not what I expected and not what I paid for.
Very disappointed in how I was treated and the accommodations. The pictures and the description are not accurate. I'm pretty forgiving when it comes to travel and for the $$ this is probably a place you should skip.

I doubt there is anything the owners and staff could do to improve the experience. We loved the location, facilities, staff and food. Make sure you allow plenty of time to get there and back. The single lane road is prone to delays and is busy. But getting there is worth it!

Tilbaketrukket paradis
Fantastisk opphold på et velholdt og veldrevet 5-stjernes resort. I umiddelbar nærhet til en lang strand, med vulkansk svart sand. To store felles basseng og eget basseng på vår villa - alle velholdte og rene. Vær obs på at hotellet ligger tilbaketrukket og langt unna det meste - det er virkelig stille og rolig. Det er mulig å gå turer til lokalområde langs stranden, men det er ikke så mye å se. Gode bølger for morro i havet gjør at man ikke kjeder seg. Alle ansatte gjør sitt beste for at man skal få et fint opphold. Maten er ok, noe stivt priset for kvaliteten. Kanskje det eneste som trenger et løft, for etter noen dager er du lei maten her. Vel verdt pengene, så lenge du er innstilt på å bare slappe av og nyte late dager.

Ok men heller ikke mere trods rammerne er der
Meget øde sted uden anden muligheder for mad end hotellets. Billederne fra stedet holder ikke i forhold til virkeligheden. Stranden er fuld af affald. Poolområderne er syper gode. Maden er udemærket men ikke på niveau med maden på Bali generelt. Hotellet kunne med få forbedring nå fantastiske højder. Men det mangler vedligeholdelse, personlighed og alle de små ting der gør en forskel. For rammerne er der, men det er simpelthen ikke den lange tur til Pekutatan værd at tage til Kelapa. Selvom det kun er ca 60 km fra lufthavnen. Så beregn ca 3-4 timers kørsel pga trafikken.
