It had new floors and quiet but when l arrived the building was locked at 3pm and checked out the next morning building was locked due one person trying to work the cleaning and office but the person came after l was looking around to check out..

Good Morning.Due to shortage of staff and for safety reason, we locked the front desk and operate from Night window. There is signage posted on doors for Office. Main Lobby open for breakfast only 06:00am To 09:00am. Sorry for inconvenience.

Much improved motel
We’ve stayed at this motel several times in the past while visiting family in Moulton. This was the best experience we’ve had. The room was clean and comfortable. Love the vinyl flooring!

My only issues was they stated they didnt have the room available that I booked and that I also had to put down deposit that I wasnt aware of. The room was latered honored because of a last minute cancelation.

The stay was comfortable and the room was clean. Pool was not available, it has been closed for reconditioning for some time now. That was no issue.

Room was new and clean, which to us is most important. Outside was somewhat rundown and the parking lot was in need of resurfacing. Parking was minimal, as management allowed a construction company to park their many vehicles in the parking lot. It appeared the office area was being used by the management as their living quarters. A car was parked in the porte cochere normally used for arriving guests, and we never observed it moved during our stay. There was a pool, but it was covered and unusable. A barbecue restaurant and a bakery were in a shopping plaza within walking distance. Both were good choices for lunch/dinner and breakfast, respectively. If you have business in the area as we did, it fills the need for clean accommodations.

Pool is permanently closed. car is park in canopy because our guest has extra car so they need parking space. because they have two cars one bucket truck and there own car. Sorry for inconvience, but we have to take care of our guest too.

very clean hotel. close to food and shopping. would stay there again if in the area. pool was closed due to season. staff was friendly. close to Bankhead Forrest and a 30 mile drive to Cullman off I-65

The water shut off while I was mid-shower. Water pressure was horrible to begin with. There was a fingernail on the bathroom counter when we got there. The towels were so small that even my child complained they didn’t cover her very well. The bathroom door barely closed because it hit the shower rod.

Sorry for inconvience. We have water hot line busted , so water was leaking. Thats the reason we have to turn main water line to fix it. we provide guest bucket of water.

There were other people staying with animals. These people didn't clean up after their animals. You have to watch where you walk in the grassy areas. When other people were staying around you, they were not considerate about others staying there too. Walls shook and doors slammed until early morning hours. There's more but I'm sure no one really cares.

Do not stay here
Booked a room at 9 pm online and told them in the comments I would be a late check in. When I arrived I was told I was to late and to come back at 1:00 pm (the next day). Then they said they had no clean rooms and there were only a few cars in the parking lot. Then they attempted to not refund my money. I had to drive 30 miles to the next town to find a room. Avoid if at all possible.

Sorry on behalf of deskclerk. The check in time is after 3:00pm. The guest send the email about late check in, the deskclerk thought that guest will check in around mid night. But guest arrived @ 03:30 in morning. sorry for in convience. Desk clerk didnt charged guest. gave full refund.

Was updated. Receptionist wasn’t friendly at all. TV guide and stations didn’t seem to match. Remote had buttons that didn’t have services for. HVAC was dirty when turned on heat causing a burnt smell.

Called to make sure the pool was open - it was the only reason I came a day early. Arrived and the pool was closed, and I was told I could have my money back. That wasn't the point - I could have stayed somewhere else - and it was too much of a hassle that late at night and ended up bored in my room for the next two days. No breakfast - not even a muffin in a bag. Tired of people using Covid to get out of taking care of guests. They charge the same - they charge for water and everything else - and they can't brew a pot of coffee and throw a banana in a bag? With no delivery service, had to run out just for coffee. Please don't blame Covid. You take money and let people sleep on pillows where other people have breathed into - you can give someone a piece of fruit and a cup of coffee - you certainly have no problem selling it.

Due to pandemic our breakfast bar is closed and pool also. short of employee. we tried our best to find pool service but every where is shortage of staff. Coffee Machines are in room and coffee package also.

The lady that worked there was nice, I liked that she had a little garden behind the Inn. Hate that the swimming pool was closed in 100 deg weather. Overall, pleasant stay.

Great Place
For aoyel in a small town & out of the way it was nice, clean & comfortable. The check-in time was originally 3 pm but since we were coming from texas she allowed us to check in early. So that was a major kudos to that motel.
