L'hôtel est bien situé dans la ville, et le personnel est gentil. Par contre il est très difficile de se garer à proximité et l'état de l'hôtel est dégradé. Notre chambre sentait l'humidité et lorsque les personnes du dessus prenaient leur douche il y avait une fuite d'eau dans notre chambre (et les parties communes).

Good Location

We probably made a mistake of booking a one star which was too basic for our needs. There were some obvious things that should have been remedied - shower holder not working, bath enamel worn. The air conditioning worked well and the staff were very welcoming. Maybe a possibility if you just need somewhere for one night,

Beautiful Antequera town

The town of Antequera is wonderful with lots of great places to eat and lots of historical buildings. Hotel is very convenient for walking to all parts of the town. Free parking in a car park a few blocks from the hotel.

La situación es ideal, muy cerca de donde hay que estar. Ojo con el aparcamiento, no hay salvo de pago (el mas cercano, pero... 2 euros la hora!!!) y los gratuitos son al aire libre y sin sombra. Un paseo no muy largo, pero recomiendo dejar antes las maletas en el hotel. Mi habitación fallaba en el colchón, la ducha (pequeñísima) y la ausencia de bidet. Ni nevera ni teléfono. Wifi buena, Patio interior para fumadores, cocina para clientes con salón para comer o reuniones, buena idea aunque no lo usé. El personal, de primera.

Hotel conveniently situated in of Antequera

This is "only" a "One Star" Hotel, but the room was excellent: it had recently been modernised and the bathroom included a toilet, bath, shower AND a bidet. The latter was much appreciated and is rarely found even in hotels of much higher star rating. The bedroom was smallish, but the bed was comfortable. If there had been a safe and fridge/minibar it would deserve a Three Star rating. We were disappointed that breakfast was only available on one our five mornings, and it was simple, but excellent. The staff were very helpful but their English was no better than my Spanish.

Antequera is a great town!

We had a room with 3 twin beds and there was plenty of room for us and our luggage. Parking was on a free lot, a bit of a hike to get to but we felt that our rental car was safe and it was. We walked all over this sweet place...loved it!

Antequera lovely spanish town. Hotel well situated. Basic but price reflects this. Roads to hotel very very narrow we had difficulty with our car but managed.

Muy mala la atención.

Mi experiencia regular, les cuento el porqué: A las 12 de la noche, una vez que volvimos de cenar, la persona encargada de la recepción se echó a dormir y nos tuvo a 4 personas 1 hora en la puerta, llamando al teléfono y al timbre respectivamente sin parar, hasta que encontramos un coche de la policía local y, localizaron otro hotel que poseen los mismos dueños, en la localidad, para así decirles dónde dormía la persona de la recepción, y a través de golpes en el cristal despertarla para que nos abriera, por tanto nos tuvo mas de una hora a la intemperie, una noche de lluvia y frio colosal.

Bom, mas não no inverno

O maior problema é não haver um bom sistema de calefação no inverno. O hotel é super frio! Que bom ter sido só uma noite! Mas a localização é excelente, dá pra parar o carro na frente p retirar as malas e há estacionamento gratuito por perto.

Great little budget hotel

This is a great value-for-money place to stay in Antequera. The room was generously sized, had a nice little balcony overlooking the street, and the only criticism was that the little air con unit was noisy. Hotel Toril is close to the centre of Antequera and, certainly, everything of interest (shops, restaurants, and the Alcazaba) are within easy walking distance. Breakfast was included, and they had a lovely courtyard where you can enjoy the breakfast (albeit that it was a bit basic). Internet was free and excellent, and the staff very friendly and helpful.

Eenvoudig hostel maar zeer vriendelijk

Het hostel heeft een erg eenvoudige kamer waar wel alles op zit wat je nodig hebt. De kamer is groot genoeg en met wat passen en meten kun je de koffers kwijt. Wel waren de bedden niet goed. De kamers liggen boven een bar en met het enkel glas en de dunne muren zijn de kamers erg gehorig. Als je daar niet goed tegen kunt dan moet je dit hostel niet nemen. Maar wij hebben heerlijk geslapen. Het ontbijt is wel aardig en de mevrouw die het buffetje in de gaten houdt vult alles meteen bij en ruimt alle tafels meteen af. Heel attent. Parkeren kan op een gratis parkeerplaats op ca. 10 min. lopen of dichterbij in een parkeergarage (betaald). Internet werkte in eerste instantie erg goed, maar de laatste 3 dagen helemaal niet meer, dus kan ik niet beoordelen.

Saubere Zimmer, netter Service, gute Lage

Hilfsbereites und nettes Personal, sauberes ordentliches Zimmer. Das Hotel liegt in einer Nebenstraße, ruhig, aber nur 200 m zu einem schönen Platz mit Restaurants usw. Viele Geschäfte , Bars in der direkten Umgebung. Ideal um alles zu Fuß zu erkunden. Reservierten Parkplatz vorher bestätigen lassen, wir hatten Pech. Man kann in der Stadt weiter weg parken, zwischen 10 und 15 Euro pro Tag. Empfehlenswertes Hotel, gerne wieder !

Albergo comodo per la destinazione che ci eravamo prefissati (Caminito del Rey) e che ci ha consentito di visitare al volo il Torcal, parco che si trova nelle vicinanze: in poco tempo, poi, puoi raggiungere Malaga.

I have stayed in worst 4 star hotel. Why this place describes itself as a hostel god only knows. It is clean and tidy, comfortable beds, large bathroom which is meticulously clean, and literally 50 metres from centre of town. Absolutely everything you could ask from a hotel. Stayed 2 nights and would recommend to all. A credit government owners.
