Superb location for Shoppers
Location Superb. But I stayed 4 nights there was no housekeeping, no change sheets, room a bit dirty. A bit troublesome to have to bring soiled towel to reception on a different floor to exchange for a new one. I was told I need to pay for housekeeping, That is bad. Room small but still ok for the price. Airport bus is just across the road. A lot restaurants near by. Quite convenient,

This is the poorest hotel I have ever stayed. First, the so-called 'hotel' situates only from 7th to 9th floor of a commercial building. It is in fact a hostel. Second, I am living in a room on the 7th floor next to the so-called 'hotel lobby'. I was waken up in the middle of the night due to the noise outside through a terribly thin wall. For the price I paid, I deserve a better one.

Good location but bad services
we were so happy with the location then we felt so sorry for the room with this kind of price the room so small , 2 luggages don't even can put nicely. Staffs not helpful complaint about no wifi for five days, no one care about me.

Good location within a comparable budget
Overall is good. It has excellent location with the airport shuttle bus just opposite the road. Everything is very convenient. Many money exchangers nearby with good exchange rates. There's many local restaurants just under the hotel. The building also has an exit direct link to the subway and you don't need to get an umbrella even it's raining.

It's a very good strategic hotel to stay because near subway, convenient store and easily find food to eat. However, the size of the room was small and the price that paid, I might can get a bigger room from other hotels. Overall Is a clean 2 star hotel.

9 night stay review
Good location conveniently near subway but situated in a shabby building with like restaurants, skin center and dental on below level. The 2 lady reception is nice can speak English or mandarin but the male one give a don't care attitude. Room service constantly not done. During 9 night of stay came only 50% of the time. Call up reception a few time to told them the lady is apologetic while the guy just say i already inform housekeeping. Basic room no toiletries supplied. Very noisy and can hear next door and outside people talking or dragging luggage. With the pantry area a lot of noise as people gather there to talk loudly.

We apologize for your inconvenience. Outside of building can be looked shabby depends on the view of a person, though I hope that It isn't related to the inside of our hotel.(building has Lotteria at 1st floor, bank at 2st floor etc... It is not shabby compare to other building personally. On the contrary, It shows that it is at a good location) We are sorry about the bad attitude of our staff. We will do more staff training for the better customer service. Also, try to fulfill the request that customer have it . We are also trying hard informing our customer being quite for the sake of each other. We are sorry that you didn't have a satisfied staying at our hotel. We will try not to happen again.

BLACKLISTED FOREVER
First of all, this place is by every measure more like a hostel than a hotel. The rooms are so small you can't open two suitcases at the same time. There is no shower enclosure/tray, not even a curtain. These would all have been alright IF we knew we were booking a hostel and paid half of the price. That wasn't the biggest problem yet. We stayed there for 3 consecutive nights. We booked the first 2 nights in a go and booked the third night later (both twin rooms). When we checked in we gave them both booking confirmations and they said nothing. On the second day of our stay, we set out early in the morning to join a day tour. The hotel staff knew that. When we returned to our room that night, to our horror, all our luggage was gone! It turned out they had moved all our stuff to another room claiming that we booked another type of room for that night! What was even more shocking, our new room was actually identical to our previous room in terms of size and layout! Throughout our stay, NO ONE ever told us we had to change rooms. They didn't apologise and just kept saying we should have checked out that day. One Korean receptionist even asked us to speak in Korean or Japanese! When we said we couldn't, she just started yelling at us in Korean! It was simply horrifying that they broke into our room like that (they put everything in a carton box, pyjamas and towels mixed with dusty cables!). We have NEVER come across such horrible service and attitude anywhere else in the world!

It was ok
The hotel is in city centre, close to all sightviews. Only spent one night in that hotel, cant say too much about it, but I lost my phone in the hotel, and checked with staff, they said they never saw my phone!!!

Clean and comfortable room
From Seoul Station, we rode a taxi thinking that the driver can take us to K-pop hotel fast. Unfortunately, he did not know the hotel. It took us some time to find it, we paid more or less 12k won after circling and turning every block. The hotel's signage is small. It is better to tell the taxi to bring you to 'good morning city' or 'lotte fittin' because the hotel is very near these landmarks. Our room is on the 9th floor. We were advised by the receptionist that the room is a bit small specially when she noticed that we have a child with us. Truly, it was small but very comfortable. Moreover, all space is maximize. There is tv, wifi, ref, heater and a nice bed. There is enough space under the bed for our 2 big luggages and 2 medium size bags. It was nice going back to the hotel after a day of touring, shopping and strolling. A lot of authentic korean restaurants are near, boutiques and shops are everywhere, and night market is just across the street.

Nice city views, but confined space
The hotel staff accommodated me well even though the night crew didn't really speak English. From the pictures online I expected the room to be just a little bigger. This is a nice hotel if you just need a fair priced room to spend the night. The window view into the city is a nice addition.

Close to metro and convienance for shopping etc.
Easy to find the hotel, the staff is very nice, convienance for shopping and having meal, close to the metro. The water supply for shower is very weak. Not enjoy for taking shower!

Very convenient spot near shopping malls
Very convenient surrounding by shopping malls but the room is small and they were not cleaned everyday. However, the price is fair and are very suitable for travelers who won't be staying in hotel always.

Excellent location in access to Dongdaemun
The hotel is situated just a walking distance from the subway station and occupied the 7 to 9 floor of the building. Overall, the room is clean and comfort for a good rest after shopping. Do not expect spacious space as it's just a budget kind of hotel.

Super convenient location
The hotel is conveniently located 50 meters from the metro station 75 min from airport, which makes the stay super easy for shophaholics, who can purchase from the many 24-hr shopping malls in Dongdaemun. We practically shop till 5am every morning. But every mall is just 10 min walking distance from each other and lots of restaurant open 24-hr. It is super convenient. However, as in most other hotel in the area, the room is extremely tiny. It's only room for 1 luggage to open at a time.

Excellen location for late night shopping
My friend and I simply picked this hotel for the location, it's very close from where everything is for late night shopping. Room was tiny but cozy, most importantly kept well clean. We were happy with our stay at K-Pop Hotal.

Just 1 minute walk from "Dongdaemun History & Culture Park" metro station exit, 2 minute walk from airport bus station, and 5 minute walk from many fashion shopping malls. Hotel is only part of the buildings (7/F to 9/F). There is only one lift to the hotel but it is usually available. Free breakfast is provided, self-served, limited choice of food, e.g. corn flakes, milk, bread, butter, jam. Pantry available on each floor with microwave oven, refrigerator and washing basin. Staff are very helpful and can speak perfect Chinese. Room is modern and looks new. Room size is small that you cannot both open your luggage and walk out from your room. Water pressure is too low even for shower. Sound proof window is installed in room but we can still hear little sound from the busy street outside. Little sound from other rooms in case you need absolutely silent during sleeping. Shampoo and soap are not provided, but can be bought for KRW 1000 from reception. Odor from the toilet after air ventilation turned off for long time, but it is fine after turning it on (i.e. plugging door key to the main switch after returning to room).

great location!
The hotel location is great. It's very close to the subway station and the bus stop to the airport is just across the street. Shopping complexes are all over the place and they open until 2am. Those who like foods will not be disappointed because there are so many restaurants nearby. Behind the hotel building there are few restaurants. Across the street there is one street of restaurants that I'm sure you will enjoy it. The room is really small though but it's clean and comfy too. The shower room is even smaller since I stayed in a single bed room. The queen size bedroom is not that big too. if you like shopping and just wanna find a place to sleep, this hotel is a good choice.

Great small hotel. Location is great and the neighborhood has a lot of good surprises. Right accross the street from a convention center and a "mall". Place has a newish decor and well maintained. lounge for the hostel feel but seperate rooms.

排水設備が最悪です。連泊してもbedメイキングも有料だし清掃もないようです。壁も薄くて普通の声でも両隣りの音全て聞こえます。シャワーもカーテンもなくトイレが水浸しになるので一度も利用しませんでした。
