We stayed 4n/5d and I can’t complain. We arrived around 930am and allowed us to go to our room early for a small fee. Staff in the reception are nice. This hotel has all the basic you will need. It has free coffee (different flavors), hot chocolate, teas, water and juices and chips 24 hrs a day. Housekeeping everyday. We were on the 9th floor (901) and it was quiet. Hot and cold water has no issues. The location is superb. Has street performers right in front of the hotel, it was our entertainment every night, reminds me of New York City (my home). Street foods and lots of restaurants and shops. It’s called Ximending Night Market. It’s also close to public transport - MRT, buses and taxis. I highly recommend this hotel if you’re not too picky. It’s safe and affordable.

Room is a little too small but location is fantastic. Check in staff is very friendly. Check in was super fast. Less than 5 minutes. Keep it up.

Location is definitely outdated compared to other hotels. No bidet and needs a key instead of a card to open the door. Furniture feels like it’s 2005 but decent amount of space.

Location is really good. Bare necessities provided. Room has dust on walls and curtains but floor is clean. Bathroom is dated but well-maintained and with good hot shower. Staff don’t make the bed but the water and towels are replaced daily.

The room was clean and cozy. The location was perfect as it was close to everything like the night markets, restaurants, shops and public transport. Would definitely stay here again!

Rainbow Hotel probably has the best location in all of Ximending. It's in the heart the action...close to shops and restaurants. Its a great choice for any traveler.

Property's location is extremely convenient - less than 5 mins walk to nearest MRT; less than 30 sec walk to multiple dining locations and shopping options. Only cons is that the WiFi is barely present.

The front desk said Expedia only told them I had one room but after showing them my confirmation, they gave us our second room. I'm lucky they had availability but a misstep between them and Expedia. Great location, highly recommend.

Clean and comfortable. It was a nice stay. The room was surprisingly spacious considering its prime real estate located in the heart of Ximending. I also received a call from my father in the USA around check out time and was a little late checking out. Nobody ever called harassing me to check out and remind me of the check out time. Highly appreciated and hope to stay again.

A very convenient, comfortable and caring hotel. The hotel staff, Ms Zhang was most helpful, friendly and courteous. It may be a small simple hotel, which does not offer many frills and any more breakfast due to the pandemic, but the 24 hours hot and cold drink machines, snacks, and dining area made accessible to all hotel guests are more than sufficient to make up for it. Thank you Rainbow Hotel for making our stay a pleasant one.

Fabulous location and over all a good hotel. Staff was friendly and room was spacious and clean. Breakfast had a decent variety and good coffee but eggs and other foods that should have been hot were very cold, even when first brought out. Afternoon tea was a nice touch with coffee and cake.

We were upgraded to a bigger room upon arrival. The hotel room was renovated but the toilet was not. Overall, it was a pleasant stay. Hotel is near eateries and right at the middle of ximending. It will be better if the there is mosquitoes measures in place.

The Staff was kind and provide room upgrade for us, the room is spacious and comfortable for 2 of us to stay, The location is also very easy to find. Breakfast was rather simple but the taste is still ok. In Overall, it is quite a nice place to stay for a night.

Always Our First Choice
Have always loved staying at Rainbow Hotel whenever we travel to Taipei. It is very conveniently located and the staff are all very friendly. Room allocated is clean and big but do not have sufficient hanger space. Breakfast may be simple but it's more than sufficient and the dishes are very delicious. They provide tea-break and drinks are available all day. A very family-friendly hotel.

Excellent location, right in the middle of Ximenting night market. The room was fairly big but of L shape, if you have a lot of luggage that would be a good spot for them. The staffs are friendly and enthusiastic.
