Hi John,I'm glad you had a nice stay. I apologize for the inconvenience. While we have been going through some staffing changes, our crew is working hard to get trained up. This should have been a smooth experience and I truly apologize for that. As for the receipt, depending on the hotel and negotiated rate with 3rd parties, we sometimes are not able to provide an itemized receipt. This is purely contractual and hotels can lose their contract for this. It comes down to the type of booking made. Some 3rd party transactions are completely transparent. In your case, the itemized receipt you would have receieved would not have reflected your actual cost. Expedia experts would be more than happy to provide you with your itemized receipt. I sincerely apologize. We are not trying to be difficult to work with.

Hi Darrel, We would like to sincerely apologize about this matter. While Missouri is a legal state, we have a strict no smoking policy inside the hotel. Sometimes the smell lingers even after a guest returns indoors. After some time we were finally able to pinpoint which room and guest we had the incident with and were able to successfully rectify the situation. Unfortunately a few bad apples ruin the experience for everyone. We certainly don't want this experience to hinder your consideration of staying with us again. Thank you,
