Good location, very basic room
Staff were very friendly, and the hotel in a great location. A few things that needed fixing in the room were not fixed during my stay. The door did not lock properly which, as a solo female traveller, made me a little uncomfortable. Turns out it had not been fitted correctly so didn't fit the hole in the door frame. The safe in the room didn't work, needing a new battery. I flagged this up on my first morning before heading out for the day. The person at reception wrote it down, and I assumed this would be fixed by the time I returned later that day. But it wasn't. It didn't work for the whole of my stay. The other small issue was that the room was on the lower floor and had a very large window that opened straight out onto the side drive, and the loose hinges meant it didn't hold it's position. It just swung right open. If it was warm, I couldn't sleep with the window open as there was no way of securing it, so somebody could easily step into my room. I understand the need for the large opening window being an emergency exit point, but a smaller opening window added to the frame would be helpful for fresh air. Also, I think the drains may need looking at as there was a constant unpleasant small in the bathroom. The sink was missing a plug, and the toilet only had half a flush button. Good points: The bedroom area was clean, the bedding was spotless, and the bed was comfortable.

Nice hotel. The staff are very kind and willing to help you if you need it. The rooms are comfortable. It's near the Van Gogh Museum and Reijksmuseum. It's expensive, but everything in Amsterdam is expensive.

Die Gastgeber sind sehr zuvorkommend. Wir hatten einen Wasserkocher mit kleiner Auswahl an Tee und Kaffee auf dem Zimmer. Die Matratzen sind neu und prima! So wie ich die Gastgeber einschätze, erhalten die Wände auch bald die benötigte Maniküre 😍. Die Gegend war, Süd-Amsterdam entsprechend, gehobener Klasse. Die Restaurants spiegeln es unweit des Van Gogh Museums (600 m) wieder. Der Kaffeeladen, mit einer großen Auswahl an Pflanzenmilch, gegenüber machte den Besuch rund. Wir kommen wieder 👍

Beliggenhed perfekt
Hotellet har den helt perfekte beliggenhed, helt tæt på Vondelpark og 5 minutter fra museumskvarteret. Men hotellet er også midt i en tiltrængt renovering, så det larmer en del i dagtimerne. Jeg kunne desuden ønske mig nogle mindre puder (og blødere). Meget hjælpsomt personale.

The building is quaint. The area is perfect for walking and close to museums . Vondelpark was the next street over and made for a pleasant stroll. We walked everywhere.

Nous avions réservé une chambre pour 2 personnes pour 2 nuits avec petits déjeuners qui nous avaient été facturés 10€ chacun , soit 40€. Or sur place, on nous a dit qu'il n'y avait pas de petits déjeuners. Nous demandons donc le remboursement des 40€ abusivement prélevés

Very satisfied
The Atlas was so convenient for our stay. We like 'old' which is why we chose a place like this. I believe they are updating the rooms. We were not put off by the couple things that needed attention. The Spanish lady at the front desk was just great! She was friendly, helpful, funny. The breakfast was at a sister hotel down the street, and it was fabulous. We would stay here again.

Lovely location, my room was a little dated. The bathroom had an overhead shower over the bath, due to the sloping roof I was unable to stand up straight. Very friendly and enjoyed the free coffee

Hôtel de caractère bien situé

Amazing stay highly recommended
Wow! What an amazing hotel. Fantastic location - 1min from Vondelpark, 10min walk to Leidesplein. Supercomfy bed in a spotless room. Breakfast was plentiful. Staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful - we arrived too early to check-in but were able to leave our bags. When we did check in the bags had been taken to our room. We will definitely choose this hotel again - can't wait =)

Super fint lille hotel
Hotellet lå tæt på den smukke park. Derudover var personalet meget venlige, en ganske fin morgenmad og værelserne havde det de skulle. Hotellet lå et sted hvor der ikke var særlig meget larmt. Hvilket var super dejligt. Hyggeligt lille hotel som vi gerne besøger igen.

It’s a unique set up for a hotel but the blow dryer didn’t work, only one of the plugs in the room worked, I wish they provided some bottled waters for the rooms. Staff was fairly nice - best thing was that they allowed us to check in super early so we could get a nap after coming off the plane. Just wish the rooms were a bit nicer and better quality
