The hotel was gorgeous and the customer service was great! The only thing is they gave us a room facing the club beside the hotel. The music kept us up till 2am. This made the early wake up call for the Houston marathon a challenge. It was super close to the marathon start line and finish.

The hotel is nice and comfortable, but the reception staff was very unprofessional, and I didn't receive good service. The girl lacked patience and should have more charisma. You can't ask too many questions about the hotel because she gets angry. She wasn't hygienic when preparing the drinks; she even opened one of the ingredients with her teeth and handled the ice with her bare hands. I wouldn't go back solely because of the poor service I received.

I’ve stayed at other Moxy hotels and this one is similar. Very small rooms but you’re paying for the location. It’s clean and I don’t really mind the small room. It was ideal for my stay as I had to be downtown. I’m taking one star off because of the noise. I stayed Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night. Every night there was an open air dance party next door that ended at 2am. I’m used to sleeping with noise canceling headphones so it actually didn’t bother me that much. But just be aware if you’re bothered by noise you will get zero sleep over the weekend. The walls are really thin too and you can hear every conversation unless you have headphones. Other than that this place is a reasonable option if you have to stay downtown

Probably one of the WORST marriotts I have stayed at, 2 of us were travelling, we both had to change our rooms, due to the noise. There was zero sound proofing. Maybe if you are in your early 20’s this hotel would be ok. They staff felt like they thought they were doing us a favour by assisting. The hotel was relatively clean, the valet couldn’t locate our car when we had a super early flight to catch. I would NOT recommend this property or ever stay there again

The staff at this location is extremely friendly and the drinks I requested came out exactly as expected (coffee in the AM and cocktail at arrival). However, the accommodations were less than favorable. My room took 2+hrs for the heat to kick in forcing me to sleep in my travel coat. The location of this hotel is in the heart of nightlife so I expected noise but not to the extent that I experienced during my stay. Additionally, my TV did not work and the shower head was broken in my room.

Easy check in with friendly staff. Large room was very comfortable and clean. Lounge areas in main floor and 2nd floor very nice. Only a 10 minute walk to all the cultural centers, theatre district and the aquarium. I recommend the express coach bus from the airport.
