Not the prettiest hotel but it has beachy character and the location is great. It’s a three minute walk to the beach and close to some good restaurants and coffee shops. It was quiet even though you’re right next to the road and the bed was comfortable and I slept like a baby.

If you are looking for an affordable beach front access stay- which I was- you can't beat the ocean views. If you want a modern place full of nice updated amenities, this isn't the place for you! I have been coming for years for the short walk to the beach and always enjoy my stay. All the room basics are provided!!

The staff was super friendly and accommodating! The hotel itself is older and a little worn but clean. And it's SO close to the beach and a few decent restaurants etc it's a great value for the price. Would recommend as long as you aren't hoping for something glamorous!

The property was super dated and felt a little sketchy but the room was great, it was spacious and met our needs. I didn’t let my kids sit on the couch but otherwise it was comfy. However, I booked through Expedia for 2 adults and 3 kids and then the paper I signed at check in specified that no more than 4 people were allowed per room so it made me nervous that we were going to have to get a 2nd room or something. The fact that I could book for 5 in one room was the main reason we booked this hotel.

If you're looking for a very simple place to crash on your way out or back, this place is fine. The location is great, close to the beach and right on the PCH. That said, it's not been refurbished since 3's Company was airing new episodes. I will say that the room was clean, as far as it could be, but check the AC filters (my first thing to check after the headboards for dust). The staff is friendly and helpful, which was great.

Don’t judge a book by its cover! The outside of the hotel looks rundown, and also the lobby… but the room itself was very clean and very comfortable and very spacious! I would definitely stay here again!
