For a solo traveler this is a great option, as its centrally located and easy to get to anywhere in town and the many nature hikes in the area. Loved the back porch with a view directly into the woods. As noted by other guests, only possible downside are the thin walls.

My boyfriend and I had a great stay! The place was cute, quiet, and had everything we needed. It's also very close to town so convenient to go in and out. I loved the little touch of delivering a small breakfast basket to your room on weekends - adorable! We would definitely stay here agin.

I was pleasantly surprised with the Bunkhouse. I was up for the Celtic Faire and it was a great place to rest my head after the long days. The room was spacious, the bed very comfortable and it was great having a kitchenette. The only downsides were the bathroom was on a very noticeable slope so tricky to get used to in the middle of the night. shower was very small, with very little water pressure and the breakfast while nice was very lack luster from the photos online. Still would highly recommended and will definitely be back.

Mountain Retreat

A wonderful mountain retreat! My stay was comfortable and the hospitality great. The balcony was a particular highlight, the stars were bright at night and the forest alive in the morning. I would stay here again.

The Bunkhouse is a traditional old motel. Its cosy has a comfy bed and real cups, cutlery and a sink go along with a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. There's a small balcony off the back overlooking the forest. I was there on a weekend so breakfast is delivered to your door.

Had a great time. I actually feel like I enjoyed staying here more than I would have enjoyed staying at one of the options inside the town. It’s nice to be a little out of the way. Lots of vintage charm while providing a high standard of service. Highly recommend.
