Hotel is located in a great location so that it is very close to the sites and food, but just off the main street so that you don't have to hear all the nightlife. "I would love to share my appreciation for Joy at Shilla Stay Guro. I arrived in Korea very early in the morning after being away for almost 10 years. So much time had passed that I barely remembered my way around, and I honestly didn’t know where to go at that hour. I wasn’t expecting to check in early. I was just hoping the hotel could store my luggage until check-in time. However, I was also feeling really unwell and desperately needed some rest. That’s when Joy at the concierge desk helped me. She kindly explained everything and arranged an early check-in so I could get some rest. What touched me the most was that she noticed I wasn’t feeling well and, without me even asking, thoughtfully assigned me a room on the quieter side of the hotel. It may have seemed like a small gesture, but it meant so much to me, especially after such a long journey and being back in Korea for the first time in 10 years. I truly appreciated not only her help but also her genuine thoughtfulness. Joy made my first morning back in Korea much more comfortable than I could have hoped for. Thank you so much, Joy, for your kindness and warm hospitality. I won’t forget it!"

"The hotel and staff were nice. Unfortunately it is the end of October and getting chilly in Seoul, there was no way to control the thermostat so the room was cold. I asked the front desk and there was no way to control it but they were kind enough to bring me a portable oil heater. Once again, it was a bit disappointing because the heater barely helped warm up the room. I ended up wearing layers to bed and making a “blanket cave” to stay warm. Everything else about the hotel was great, it was just a bit too chilly for my liking, especially as someone that struggles to regulate their own body temperature."
